The political landscape in Germany was shaken up recently with the emergence of a new influential player – the BSW Alliance. This party, which was formed less than eight months ago, has already made significant gains in the regional elections in Thuringia and Saxony.
Led by Sahra Wagenknecht, a former member of the left-wing Die Linke party, the BSW Alliance has managed to capture the attention of voters with its platform and message. In Thuringia, the party secured nearly 16% of the vote, coming in third place, and is expected to receive more than 10% in the neighbouring Saxony state.
But who is Sahra Wagenknecht and what does her party stand for? Wagenknecht, a well-known figure in German politics, has been a vocal advocate for social justice and economic equality. Her party, the BSW Alliance, has positioned itself as a strong alternative to the traditional political parties in Germany, offering a fresh perspective on key issues facing the country.
With its rapid rise in popularity and strong showing in the recent elections, the BSW Alliance is now seen as a force to be reckoned with in German politics. As the party continues to gain momentum, it will be interesting to see how it shapes the political landscape in the coming months and years.

An Alliance whose moniker is the name of a living person that happens to be the head of the group is a red flag right away.
So, expect gift of Naziism once again to world ?
The media is promoting this woman and her party like crazy. I smell something fishy going on here…
Linke became a NewBabilon affiliate, so most of leftwingers left the Link for a left party for real.
BSW is a local party which doesnt even exist in every German Bundesland. They are not a new force or anything. There are only two political parties which are strong all over Germany: CDU/CSU and AfD, the rest is either a local party or completely irrelevant.
Party name already says it's all (Bündnis Saraha Wagenknecht). It's all about Wagenknecht making herself heard by talking about populist themes with a lot of double speak and outright lies. Eg she promises peace with Russia and Putin if only Ukraine gets no weapons anymore and has to give up fighting.
BSW policy had left and right polices i m not surprised there no3 on the winners
1st is big win for the far right AfD party
2nd is CDU center right party (angela merkel)
