That was an expensive restaurant at 36 euros for dinner. It looked very touristy due to its location. Hope it was good. I just spent a month in Croatia on the coast, which was about that much as well at certain restaurants.

I love your channel Gabriel! I'm not much of a traveler myself, so I appreciate getting to travel vicariously through you. Thank you!
To add, Montenegro uses the Euro but is NOT in the EU
Ivo Andrić was a Yugoslavian writer, who wrote ‘Bridge on the Drina’ which is about Višegrad, BIH.
Be careful driving in Montenegro 😎
I'm watching from Kurdistan I like it
I love Herceg Novi, the best vacations from young days. Nice memories from there!
I've never seen beaches in California as busy as they seem to get in Europe in August. Maybe it's because the beaches there are narrower, so there's less room to spread out?
4:23 It is the Serbian Orthodox Church. It is the central confession in Montenegro. That is why the frescoes are the same as those found in Serbia. Just to let you know, the language spoken in Montenegro, Croatia, Serbia, and Bosnia is the same language with slight variations. Kind Regards
Can Montenegro hand back the sailing ship "Jadran" which they stole from Croatia in 1991. Thx so much.
Excited for this series as Montenegro is one of the countries I’m interested in exploring more
Looks a great place, the meal was good value two beers too.😊
Gabe, you should definitely take your rental to Plužine and use that as your base to visit Durmitor National Park. Inland Montenegro is easily the most underrated part of the former Yugoslavia so I’m glad you’re going!
Also, what the apartment owner was probably trying to tell you is that he speaks the Montenegrin dialect of what is essentially the same language (but with different names for political reasons), Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian. The Montenegrin dialect is closest to Serbian, and they use both the Cyrillic and Latin scripts, like in Serbia.
Herceg Novi is a lot of walking and climbing stairs 🤣🤣🤣
