You know. The worst trips make the best stories. 10 years from now , everyone will be laughing about this
Montezuma's revenge.
People where throwing up in the bushes, that's nasty, not the trashcans, not the toilet, the bushes. The staff must have been thrilled with the smell after.
It's going around everywhere. Norovirus.
I have money to go to Mexico. Do you know where I go from BC? A lake in the mountains, I dont get why you even need to leave. Its better here.
Anyone going to Mexico knows not to drink the water there unless it's bottled . Montezumas revenge is a nasty vacation spoiler .
Sounds like they hired Taco Bell for the catering. 🤣
Happens on cruise ships all the time food poisoning. You have to pay money to them.
This is one of reasons Canada despises Mexico. We totally must kick Mexico out, and make a deal with Trump
💀 that's what happens when you cancel your Disney trip and go to Mexico instead. congrats, liberals.
Yet another prime example of total incompetance. A prime example of why I trust nobody but myself.
Shocked.
Hahahahhaha enjoy your boycott, Canada! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
oh hell nahhh
Third world country problems for first world country people, which is something that doesn’t typically get factored in by first world people…
What went wrong was dozens of Canadians going to Mexico without being suspicious about where they were going, and what they will be eating, and drinking.
From what I understand not everyone got sick, so whoever did not get sick should be questioned regarding what they were doing. Whatever the majority of the folks did was obviously foolish!
🚫All inclusive resorts and buffet❗️
Its called The Trump Effect.
And they all canceled their vacations to the US where at least they could sue the hotels for compensation 😂😂😂😂
Beneath all those fancy clothes there are GI tracts that are vulnerable to the Third World conditions that still blight Mexico. It is still a developing country.
Why I am more than comfortable staying at home!
Did the workers accidentally mix 🇲🇽 Mexican food with Chinese Fentanyl?
That was Montezuma's revenge.
Lmao is this actually a serious news channel?
Only stay at condo rentals in mexico
Wouldn't it be something if this was deliberate? Where the perpetrators targeted the resorts and they thought they were hitting americans that were taking advantage of their country and supported trumps false claims?
Multiple resorts at once is awfully suspicious. Targeting tourists is not cool. But I guess that is why Canada has a travel advisory of: "Exercise a high degree of caution" for Mexico.
Gross. 🤢
Norovirus pretty common and contagious. When there is an outbreak in hospital they quarantine fast. If not norovirus then food related
Kind of hard to get a settlement after you've exposed the hotel, you should have waited till after you got your money.
You would Think that Canadians would be used to this
After all the get they same experiences after eating at Tim's or Mc Donald's
But they dont call the Tv for it and whine
Guy just trying to cheapskate on the bill and get his money back
Went on a trip to Mexico….came back with h pylori….still dealing with it one year later….most expensive trip I ever had.
If it gets worse visit hospital
Norwalk? We were on the west coast and the whole town had it.
This is the second time I've seen this on the news now. We just got back from Cancun We were there for half a month. 17 days to be exact. I had 2 days where I thought I was literally going to die. We did not stay at this resort that is mentioned but we were at a different one in the hotel zone. I was not drinking alcohol that day at all. I went to bed woke up about 2:00 a.m. and then it never stopped until mid-afternoon the next day that was after chugging Pepto-Bismol and taking a ton of Imodium I'm so thankful we brought both of those things. But I had my head in the garbage can and couldn't get off the toilet for more than a few minutes before I'd have to run back. This went on for 12 hours straight and then I was still sick as a dog afterwards but I think I depleted all of the water in my body. For about a day and a half after that all I could do was sip on Gatorade. It sounds like you guys got it even worse. The only weird thing is my partner didn't get it at all but then again we did eat different things. But yeah there was a point there where I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital for sure. I'm thankful we were there long enough for me to enjoy a good chunk of it but those two days were the sickest I've been in the past 20 years no word of a lie.
When people go running to get to the bathroom, it’s called the Mexican shuffle. 🕺 💃
Sandos hotel resorts are from Spain, so people need to sue them in an European court.
Never eat the chicken 😂
why surprised at getting sick in a resort hotel in a foreign country
Go to a third world country, expect third world problems
Mexico needs to fix their water system

Why not stay in Canada? You are getting divorced very soon.
This has been going on in Mexico for decades. Montezumas revenge. I have been sick in Mexico many times. Be careful of the buffet.
Sounds like a noro virus.
BAHAHAHA better them than me.😂🤣😝
