He highlighted the challenges facing Ukraine, including the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine and the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia, and stressed the need for continued international pressure on Russia to uphold its commitments.
Overall, the joint press conference served as a powerful demonstration of solidarity between NATO and Ukraine, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to working together to ensure peace and security in the region. As tensions continue to simmer in Eastern Europe, the relationship between NATO and Ukraine will undoubtedly be a key factor in maintaining stability and deterring further aggression.

I alredy miss Stoltenberg. I don't like Rutte too much…
I don’t think Ukraine should be in nato , Ukraine is at war , they are not ready yet to be a member
If Ukraine is not with NATO why is the president there
Has Rutte told Zelensky he must negotiate with Russia yet. That has been NATOs strategy all along.
The plan is to bring the two forces to the negotiating table and I think I can do that. The condition would be for everyone to wear suits.
There is nothing to negotiate; Russia aka Putin have no legal claim or right to Ukraine territory or the country. It just doesn’t work that way…

Ukraine joining NATO during a war with Russia equals World war 3, if not nuclear war.
Ukraine and Georgia should have never listen to the promises of NATO back in 2008, when they declared both would join NATO, leaving Russia unable to defend itself as NATO bases appeared on the Russia-Ukraine border, less than three hundred miles from the centre of Moscow. I live in the UK, and it irks me to say that NATO has been the provocateur in this tragedy.
