This Would Never Have Ever Seen The Inside Of A Courtroom…Had The 5 Been Plumbers At A Hardware Convention…Good Verdict.
Watching the news again came too late 🤗👍 long live Canada free 🇨🇦😑😅
Based on what was reported, I figured that it would be "not guilty"
Some people seem to believe that such verdicts should be based on their personal beliefs and agenda.
That woman should be charged and sued into bankruptcy
What does E.M. stand for? For months the news has been saying the men's names every night. Now we need to know what E.M. stands for, every night for months on end. Otherwise, I hope these men sue anyone that reported their names, daily, and not E.M. for damages to their reputations. This is gender discrimination.
False accusers should face the same punishment the innocent men would've faced if they were guilty.
Enough of the "believe all women " narrative.
When there are very important and powerful people, they are often not held accountable for their actions, no matter what they do. Our legal system in the entire world protects individuals like these. Most often, they are not guilty of anything.
Amazing the womans still a victim. I hope the players sue her, hockey canada and the Canadian media into the ground
This will not be popular but here goes. Even if as the white haired law professor stated that if the judge had probed deeper into the consent of the young lady, there is already precedent in the US where consent can be revoked the next day even after the fact that it was consensual. Sooooo your dammed if you do and dammed if you do. The She cried wolf story seems to fit here. Yes I believe that women get R'ed I won't deny that, but on the other side of the coin if a women gets rejected watch her make accusations that will destroy a mans life because she did not get her way. These 5 men are tarnished for life. They will never be aloud to practice the sport that they loved and trained so long. Men get their lives taken away just by an accusation they loose everything. This needs to stop. Don't believe me look up the story of Mr. Khan ( a Yale student ) who was facilely accused , tried and acquitted on all count within 3 hours by supreme court. Yet he lost his scholarship and was thrown out of Yale university due to these accusations.
In 1 week, 3 celebrities passed away.
Jamal, Ozzy and Hulk
usual suspects.
We know, you know, they know that, in the end, it's all about the money she wanted.
Woman Never said No, went along with it… How was that rape?? Verdict was fair…
A false narrative by a person with no credibility and yet the ‘protesters’ still call Her the ‘victim’. I would say it’s the 5 falsely accused young men!
But they dont believe the male victims…
Did you notice that he used the word 🤔
PREDICTABLE??? , TO DESCRIBE THE UNITED STATES???
UNPREDICTABLE!!!
Watching Canadian news is so difficult with the crazy amount of bias.
6:21 they will 100% sue the NHL next.
A female judge found them innocent. Let that sink in. She clearly showed an unbiased judgement based on facts. But hey, many people simply want to believe conspiracies.
Lousy5 broadcast global.every night same story lines .shall game..
The question I have is what is there to believe if there is video evidence of them asking EM if she consents? If they asked and she answered in the affirmative, how are they to know "she felt scared"? I wasn't there, I don't know what actually happened or didn't happen, but in the "beyond a reasonable doubt" just wasn't met here, I don't think.
Geeez… women believing women's "truth"… I'm SHOCKED!!
What happens to men who have allegations made against them yet do not have hundreds of thousands of dollars for defense attorneys?
Let Justice do its thing without media or public bias and then throw your support.
Without knowing the facts throwing support only shows two things, either
1. You don’t care for Justice or
2. Or your biased and not ready to hear any other alternative possibilities.
I hope this woman gets support and protection
All it takes is some inconsistencies for people to use the law to say justice is served. Whether crimes happened or not inconsistencies will b the rule of law.
I'm happy that these 5 men were acquitted. Otherwise, what kind of consent do people need in addition to video recording? A signed contract to perform sex consensually, witnessed by a notary?
I was once a Hogan fan back in the 80's but no longer. Hogan was a MAGA pos fascist that will not be missed. He was a known for his racist views, the world is better off without having influential people promoting hate.
Why is the NHL getting involved with this. They weren't even in the NHL at the time. I see a big lawsuit coming Mr. Bettman.
Global's coverage of the 5 World Junior players accused of sexual assault has been grossly, negligently, and irresponsibly one-sided. I hope these players sue 'E.M.' to the point of bankruptcy based on slander, if nothing else.
A woman isn't a virgin or wears a short skirt now if she was drunk- Of course she asked for it- The justice system for men not women as usual- I had hoped for justice but Im not surprised by this-Another win for the abusers
The recent verdict in the Hockey Canada case reflects a deeper failure — not just of the justice system, but of our collective responsibility to protect victims of sexual violence.
When a woman says she had no choice, when multiple men are involved, when messages suggest premeditation — that is not confusion or misunderstanding. That is coercion. That is targeting. That is assault.
Consent is not the absence of a scream. It is the presence of freedom.
We cannot continue to normalize cultures where group encounters are arranged without clarity, power dynamics are ignored, and survivors are left to carry the burden of proof while the accused walk free.
Justice must mean more than reasonable doubt. It must mean real accountability — for individuals, for institutions, and for every system that silences the truth.
This case should not be closed. It should be a catalyst. Because survivors are watching — and so is history.
Judges like this one, and including this one, are the reason so many criminals are let out on the streets after being arrested and charged. From murder to rape.
So, seeing this unjust verdict is not a surprise considering the present state of the justice system.
Hopefully the NHL bans these players for life for violating the conduct clause in their contracts.
Coming from a hockey town, these dudes got caught this one time. This wasn’t the first or the last.
judge said she filled the gaps in her memory with assumptions…female judge btw good job
Super creepy these women who don't believe in justice
