Best ever!
Rather Eurovision Senior* Contest back then 😅😊❤
Thanks for so meaningful and valuable video as always ❤❤❤
Omgggggg I have never forget this moment! One of my most favorite Victory ever… I still have goosebumps when I hear this song… Their voices, the lights in the public…. Everything
At last. They allowed this beautiful winner on here
I wnt to get back to these years, where music and sing talent decides the winner

It was 2000; I was only 5. I might not have discovered Eurovision until years later, but what a treat it would have been to discover the Olsen Brothers and this lovely song as a kid. Somehow, "Fly on the Wings of Love" feels like an old friend, even if Eurovision was unknown to me as a kid.
One of my favorite winners of all (as someone who continues to discover all the previous Contests)!
First Eurovision Winners in the 21st Century
Still feel bad when listen to this song… I supported Alsou so much and her song seemed to be so much more interesting that this song winning still feels like robbery

Interesting song title 💔
Vote for Denmark to qualify in 2025
Just gonna state right here that none of them died!
I remember watching this when I was 14 years old and thinking: this is cheesy as heck.
My first live ESC 🙂
A much simpler time where you would hear the songs for the first time on the night of the final.
Nobody, and I really do mean nobody, thought this had a chance of winning. On the afternoon of the contest, bookies in the UK were offering odds of 125/1 on this winning (I wish I had a Time Machine!) On paper, in the 100% televoting era, two older men singing a love ballad stood no chance. So what happened?
The staging I think was what swung this….those sweeping shots of the audience in the huge arena waving their lights during the performance gave a feeling you were watching a winner. It was possibly helped too by the pre-contest favourites faltering somewhat. Hot favourite Ines from Estonia gave a nervous performance and was on early in the running order, fellow frontrunner the Netherlands was also on early and was another unimpressive performance with a dress stunt that didn’t work, and online fan favourite FYR Macedonia gave a performance that was iconic…for all the wrong reasons. With their performance looking amazing on television and the favourites failing to deliver, the Olsens saw an opportunity, and they took it.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Still one of the best winners. Everything about is is just pure magic. We will grow old one day butt his song never will:❤
This song makes me proud to be danish 🇩🇰
I love these posts of songs from previous editions. I hope there are more so people can discover the gems of the previous contests! I know there’s the matter of getting permission to publish them, and it doesn’t have to be just the winners of those years or when an artist sadly passes away.
Your English is outstanding.
It feels to revisit this after Victoria Kjær Theilvig winning this year’s Miss Universe pageant in Mexican soil for Denmark just a whole month ago…
This year was a disaster for The Netherlands and no it isn't like 2024 where we got DQ'ed but we performed but at the same time a disaster happened in Enschede

Bester Song
I still get goosebumps listening to this song! ❤ I have a soft spot for the voice of Jørgen Olsen. It touches me everytime!
A very special victory that for me came as a surprise (I'm Danish) Two men in black suits with guitars and that's it.
This is still one of the most beloved songs in Denmark ❤
One of the worst winners…ever!!! Latvia should have won with Brainstorm and My star!!!
😢
