In a recent announcement, Lebanon has implemented a strict ban on all pagers and walkie-talkies on flights departing from Beirut airport. The decision comes as the country aims to enhance security measures at the airport.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported the ban, citing concerns over potential security threats posed by these devices. While specific details about the reasoning behind the ban were not provided, it is clear that authorities are taking steps to ensure the safety of passengers and staff.
This new regulation will impact travelers who rely on pagers and walkie-talkies for communication purposes. It is advised that passengers are mindful of this ban and make alternative arrangements for their communication needs while traveling through Beirut airport.
The ban on pagers and walkie-talkies is part of a broader effort to strengthen security measures at airports worldwide. Authorities are constantly evaluating and updating regulations to safeguard against potential threats and ensure the smooth operation of air travel.
As the situation continues to develop, it is important for passengers to stay informed and comply with all regulations set forth by airport authorities. The ban on pagers and walkie-talkies serves as a reminder of the ongoing need for vigilance and cooperation in maintaining safe and secure air travel.

Hezbollah has been sending missiles all along. Its not war crimes against civilians?
Its all Israeli testing exercises. No one asked Hezbollah or Hamas to start any war.
US is such a joke. "They try to prevent the war," but the only thing that they're doing is protecting Israel meanwhile Israel is doing all imaginable crimes against civilians and defensless people under the excuse of fighting terrorism.
Hezbollah is firing rockets and using drones against northern Israel to try to kill random Israeli soldiers and civilians as they have been doing since last October. Israel went after specific people in the leadership who were issued the pagers and walkie talkies. The Hezbollah chain of command picked those who were attacked.
Once again BBC Admins delete a comment that goes against its Bias. For I musn't point out that Hezbollah began this conflict when it attacked Israel on the 8th October 2023. Or that over 50% of the casualties in Northern Israel are civilians. Israel has the right to defend itself against a terrorist organisation. Oh and by the way that is what the UK considers Hezbollah.
Ban toilet flush 😆
is that a pager in your pocket … or are you just glad to see me
You meant: "Lebanon has stopped terrorists from flying."
