Ruben Amorim Sacked as Manchester United Manager
In a surprising turn of events, Ruben Amorim has been relieved of his duties as Manchester United manager after just 14 months at the helm. The decision, announced by the club, comes at a tumultuous time, with the Red Devils currently sitting sixth in the Premier League table.
Manchester United described the choice to part ways with Amorim as “reluctant,” emphasizing that the club believes “it is the right time to make a change.” The sacking follows a series of inconsistent performances that have left fans and pundits questioning the direction in which the team is headed.
Amorim, who took over in the wake of a challenging previous season, aimed to restore Manchester United to its former glory. However, his tenure has been marked by ups and downs, including moments of promise overshadowed by disappointing results. Under his leadership, the club seemed to struggle in finding a cohesive style of play while grappling with injuries and squad depth.
As the club prepares for its upcoming match against Burnley, under-18s head coach and former player Darren Fletcher has been appointed as interim manager. Fletcher’s deep connection to United’s rich history may provide a much-needed spark as the team seeks to get back on track.
The decision to part ways with Amorim has already generated considerable discussion among fans and analysts, many of whom are eager to know what this shift means for the club moving forward. As the footballing world turns its attention to Manchester United, the stakes are higher than ever for a team searching for identity and success in the highly competitive landscape of the Premier League.
The question remains: who will be the next to take the reins at Old Trafford, and what impact will this managerial change have on the squad as they aim to improve their standings in the league? Only time will tell as Manchester United embarks on yet another chapter in its storied history.

Dyche will be available soon
He going to Chelsea
When we let go of Mourinho, i knew the club is doomed cos he is a winner wherever he managed. Now 8 managers in 13 years, and no fix in sight
Here we go again…another new manager, more raised expectations followed by more disappointment.🥲
Finally. People in comments obviously not man united fans lol ❤👹
He had a sad face from the get go. Perhaps he needs some Portugal sun and fresh air while ManU appoint a proper professional
Hahahahahahahaha! Couldn't have happened to a nicer club!
He should have been sacked after the Europa league final. Keeping him like keeping Ten Hag was a clear error. INEOS have no idea what they are doing. Being a billionaire doesn't qualify you to understand football. Nice are 14th, United are failing. Pathetic.
Imagine Chelsea hiring him now
As a Chelsea fan I'm gonna keep my mouth shut here 😂
Get Nuno in, I think he's done at West Ham as they're f'in useless.
Anyone who is genuinely interested in football won’t be bothered!😂😂😂
Going back another 10 years
Heart drops every time I see it. Even if someone isn't good enough or they're not getting a tune out of the team, seeing the headline hurts. Fletcher or Carrick for a while, but we need someone proven now. Like Cunha and Mbeumo, Prem proven.
Z Z the only man for the job
Nice £12 MILLION payoff just for being a total failure???!!
Slot over at Liverpool should be concerned! Two great clubs ruined by mediocre management.
I just updated my CV
Good news of the morning!!😂😊
Who cares? Its just a game a money game ,fans being fleeced like the sheep they are, owners hire a manager and want instant succes, they seem to forget there are another 19 managers after the same thing!
Bloody joke…really annoyed at my club. Yes he was learning as he went on…but the task really hampered by over 50% of the first team being unavailable.
We truly are Manshambles Untied.
Disgusting… united were progressing under him. It was slow but they were realising the fact that Amorim is doing it right. What the hell is this? What do they want from the club to do? Glazers and so called united fan sir rat are just ruining this club. 😢
Those that own and run Man Utd need to realise they were a great club that doesn't give them a god given right to still be a great club ! It will end up that no one will want to manage the club
Hahaha 🤣🤣🤣

Things were starting to work with United. I stopped feeling pity for them and they were becoming a tough opponent in the league. A new manager might work but I doubt it and it could also send them into the Championship.
