Sailing is not just about smooth sailing and breathtaking sunsets, it’s also about the mental challenges that come with long journeys. In their latest video, titled “The Mental Game Is Hard, Sailing Is Easy,” the intrepid couple Jason and Nikki Wynn take viewers on the final stretch of their sail to Cebu for warranty work.
The Wynns have been chasing their curiosity around the world on wheels and keels since 2011, and their latest adventure is no exception. As they navigate the waters and face the challenges of sailing, they share the highs and lows of life at sea.
From dodging fishing obstacles and long lines to tacking upwind on a catamaran, the Wynns show that sailing is not always smooth sailing. They embrace the mental game of sailing, tackling each obstacle with determination and a sense of adventure.
But amidst the challenges, there are also moments of pure joy and serenity. From enjoying a lunch of fresh fish to flying into Cebu under clear skies, the Wynns show that the journey is just as important as the destination.
So if you’re looking for a dose of inspiration and a reminder that the mental game is hard but sailing is easy, check out the Wynns’ latest video. And don’t forget to grab a bottle of vitamin D3+K2 & 5 travel packs free with your first purchase to keep you energized for your own adventures.

Excellent
As usual ……
This episode brought back so many memories. My dad and I would frequently deliver boats up and down the West coast of the US. Some trips were nothing but routine sailing and following a schedule that would get quite boring. It was the times that we would sail through storms and searching for good anchorage’s was always difficult because of the volume of boats in every one of them.. often we would just split up the watches and keep moving. At least the winds were typically predictable. We always had boats with the good old “iron sails”. As I said the memories flooded back and even though they were trying times they always taught me so many good lessons in practical sailing.
Nikki was right, wait until the fish is on the boat😂😂🎉🎉

Inspirational…guys I needed this right now. Thank you, God bless you and all fellow travellers, well done everyone xx🤗🤗
Wondering what headset your are using on the boat (I assume it is for communicating with each other too), looked through your gear guides, but didn't see it? I was glad to see you using your electric motor – I was wondering why we weren't hearing more about it, especially witht he concerns over your IC one? Great video!!
Poor Baby.
Quite an “adventure” documented in this episode! I can’t even imagine the frustration you all experienced. I’m hoping things are looking up for you in the next episode. Peace and tranquility to you.
Can I just say, Jason looks great with that long and messy hair!
Yes please, cut those hair.. It will make a world of a difference to your day
AG1 – not again 😩
For God's sake, get a fish net!
❤
Buy a sliding gaff to get your fish onboard
Wow, you passed by my home town Moalboal, too bad you were not able to anchor there. Hope by this time warranty work on Curiosity is completed. Im impressed and at the same time exhausted just following your travels especially on those islands in my country that I don't know about. Thank you for sharing the good and the bad in your adventures, just like RVng. And that is how I first knew you through your blog , Gone with the Wynns which was about the same time of our RVng (LowesTravels)days. Both you and Jason have the best attitude and adventurous spirits. Keep on sailing.
Think ya stayed too long with ruby rose. With all the negativity lmao. Ya might want to take a step back and take a breath and recognize what you’re doing lol your on a state of an art sail boat life could be much worse. lol been watching
yas since the og days ya have come a long way lol
What a journey……… Long days to get to the southern point. Then the challenge of finding an anchorage. All the while running low on food…. A hundred fishing boats with nets and you couldn't catch anything. 🙁 Keep going. A beautiful coastline. Thanks for bringing us along.
Hi , I've noticed that you haven't shared much information about the use of the hybrid system. Can you explain why that is? Is there something about it that doesn't meet expectations?
: )
Nice beard kid
There’s only one thing to say before I watch this video – BIG HAIR! 😂❤
Need fish hook when it nears the boat
Nikki, when you get a migraine, put your feet in the hottest water you can stand, and your migraine will go away. I don't know the science, but it works.
Is sailing alone boring?
In last week of july u said u were going 500miles for boat work Aug 25 and ur not there yet maybe the coast guard are looking for u
I hate to be the one negative comment here but when you were in the old Curiosity I much preferred the show. New boat, nice clothes, all the best gear. I can't really relate any more.
But good luck to you both – I wish you all the best
Already time to leave the Philipines? That would be a shame. It's such a nice and interesting country.
