It is not logic that if the crew knew the switches where touched, it would take ten seconds to restart the engines.
There could be no other explanation other than a computer fault. Obvious.

It is possibel the computer switched the engines off. Rubberrumble of the startingstrip may have entered in the engines. During and after liftoff there is a huge dark cloud to be seen on that left side video. The big engines are close to the ground, experts warned for that risk.
If it was an electronic control problem, it explains the time taken by the pilots to re-estate the RUN command. As the switches is in the ON state they would have to move the switches to OFF and then again to ON. This is counter intuitive and thus would take time to decide and then to do it.

That's not BOEINGS fault that could have been done on any aircraft – civil or military. no manufacturer can allow for a rogue pilot or one having an 'episode'!

This has got to be the worst video I've seen on this crash yet. The system problem that you're talking about from 2018 was a set of switches that were installed into a 737 improperly and that the Locking collars were disengaged. Mostly because they were actually installed upside down. The mechanism cannot come off by itself as long as their functioning and after they recovered the throttle quadrant control console. Those switches are still functioning just fine. If there were an issue where the aircraft were shutting both engines down it would have shut them down at the same time, not one and then the other. I've been consulted in a number of air crashes and believe me somebody in that cockpit turn those engines off as they were rotating. Quit trying to lie about the information that you actually have.
Just to reiterate, the 7:37 in question had to have those switches properly reinstalled. So all the warning was was just to make sure you couldn't just knock the switches off and you can do that every time you get in the aircraft. Those switches cannot be switched unless you intentionally damage them, you assemble them without the Locking spring in place. And if you don't know how to operate them you're not even going to get the switches on to start the engines in the first place.
Has Boeing had problems? Yes. So has Airbus, by the way.
And I will take them to task when they screw things up like reinstalling a front door without putting the retaining bolts in. Which is exactly what caused the Alaska Air issue. They were so embarrassed by that they actually bought that aircraft back from Alaska Air and gave them a different aircraft. Just to make sure that that aircraft never got looked at. When you take a door plug out of a fuselage and put it back in and nobody has documented it closely because they're afraid of finding other problems that were not properly documented. When you take a plug door out of a fuselage, and you reinstall it without documentation. Somebody needs to be in jail. And they need to be one of the top three people in the company. If not all three of them. But remember who runs these corporations. It's not anybody who knows anything about aircraft is running boeing. It is all a bunch of buddies who just are constantly giving each other jobs to keep them rich

You're saying the computer shut the engines off without the switches actually being moved. That did not happen the pilot looks down and ask why the other pilot shut off the fuel. Because he could see the switches were off. Pay attention to the cockpit voice recording.
Question – are the switch positions interpreted by software? If so – this is a fundemtal design flaw. A straight through electrical/mechanical path to the engines is the most reliable approach.

exactly, the fuel stop flowing in engine because of software AI mediated autocut, pilot took time to figure out what was wrong, they switches off the knobs and then on. This makes sense.
Even by mistake no one touches Fuel switch, it is absolute system error. Logic failure. Boeing need to be sued.

it would be nice to know when (the exact time) the 1st pilot asked "why did you cut off fuel"? If it is before the real manual cut off of the fuel switch then it proves software malfunction. Because they probably seen it in monitoring screen followed by their attempt to restart the fuel flow by turning off and on the manual switches.
Fuel was cut off but not pilot action. Loss of electricity and fuel valves slammed shut

IS THERE A SOLENOID BENEATH THE FUEL SWITCHES THAT CAN ELECTRICALLY TURN OFF THE SWITCHES.
TURN OFF THE FUEL SWITCHES WHEN THE ELECTRONICS SAYS THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE ENGINES AND THE FUEL MUST BE CUT OFF.
