Wow, that was some bad writing and acting. It was like the train wreck I couldn't turn away from.
This story, while fairly entertaining, is essentially a "so so" remake of the truly A++ 1949 film, "Lust for Gold", starring fabulous Glenn Ford and Ida Lupino. In fact, many scenes of this movie were filmed at the same locations in Arizona's FAMED Superstition Mountains!!!

This film was copyrighted in 1956, about the same time Burr was auditioning for Perry Mason. Considering how awkward he looked in some of the action scenes here, he picked the right genre in which to make his mark
