With eleven years of existence, South Sudan is the youngest state on the planet. Who says young nation, says everything to build, everything to create.
For this, the population does not lack courage. It’s a setting worthy of the greatest disaster films and yet the floods that have hit South Sudan for four years are very real.
The level of the White Nile has never been so high, entire towns are submerged, local populations are trying to preserve the few islands of land that serve as shelter. Boats have replaced trucks on flooded roads but the journey is not any easier. Sailing on submerged land means facing multiple dangers.

Government corruption is the problem.
40 cows to get married?! Inflation is everywhere! I couldn’t afford 40 cats!
Every time I watch one of these documentaries I am so grateful to have been born in Europe.. I would not survive an hour over there and those poor people live their entire lives like that 🙁
It amazes me how these people keep going. Just keep going👍
So educative documentary ❤🎉
The content of these documentaries is outstanding, and there is so much that is positive about sharing these stores, but also there is clearly a nasty side to the filmmaking process here, and some disturbing ideologies that guided it. I'm mainly referring to violating people's dignity by pointing cameras in their faces. Of course I don't know exactly that that's the story here, as it is a controlled edited product.
Good Job 👍👍
After watching this documentary,I have realised that leaving in Kenya is a paradise.
What a sad video… not a drop of hapiness. 😢
Went vlogging in South Sudan a few months ago and I spent a week with the mundari. Very loving people and it was quite an experience !
15 klm in 15 hrs? Isn’t that a bit of a stretch? They could walk faster than that.
29:36 Classic!! What am I referring to? Well it wouldn’t be a deadliest journeys episode without a good old-fashioned, truck stuck in the mud. And I’m sure none of them are set up by the camera crew (inject sarcasm) 😅 it’s OK by me because there’s nothing wrong with a good old-fashioned idiom like, “stuck in the mud!“
Dude really washed his hair with cow piss😂 and once again trying to get through the mud with bald tires
Penjual ikan asin make batik 😂
Great documentary. Well Obama administration pumped a lot of $ in billions but the corruption in Juba city can't offer any infrastructure development.
In this life, you come and you go…his times up
Such a beautiful country with so many problems for its people yet blessed with enormous resources.
All this suffering just because of greedy politicians.
Very sad 😭😭
I think this struggling is now no more due to the dam made by Ethiopia is at its highest level and controlling the flood🤔
Good the see another episode continue giving us more content to watch
The look on those poor children on that abandoned island just broke my heart. I can not imagine what these children have to go through just to make it in life. It is hard to imagine the huge difference between those who have and those who live in absolute poverty.
The problem in South sudan is tribal hatred and in Africa in general
