Join me on this ferry journey in the Aegean Sea from the stunning Greek island of Andros to the neighboring island of Tinos. As we board the Golden Star ferry, we embark on a 2 and a half hour journey filled with beautiful views of the sea and the surrounding islands.

Upon arriving in Tinos, I am greeted by a bustling port town that is quite different from Andros. The town is lively and vibrant, with orange rooftops adding a unique touch to the traditional Cycladic architecture. As I explore the town, I am struck by the charm and beauty of Tinos, making it an instant favorite among the Greek islands.
I continue my adventure by driving around the island, discovering ancient towns, remote churches, and stunning landscapes. The island’s rugged terrain and barren hills create a mesmerizing contrast to the serene blue waters and white buildings.
My hike to the Xorgo Castle proves to be a highlight of the day, offering panoramic views of the island and its surroundings. The castle’s ancient ruins and picturesque churches provide a glimpse into Tinos’ rich history and culture.
As the day comes to a close, I reflect on the beauty and uniqueness of Tinos, marking it as my 50th Greek island to visit. With so much more to explore and discover, Tinos has already captured my heart and left me eager for more adventures in the Greek Islands.
