Tesla Semi Production Line 2026: A Game Changer with GIGA Press
In a groundbreaking move, Tesla is set to revolutionize the production of its Semi trucks with the introduction of a giant GIGA Press at its dedicated production facility. For years, the manufacturing of the Tesla Semi has faced challenges due to its reliance on manual assembly lines and limited specialized machinery. As a result, the market has seen fewer than 1,000 Tesla Semis roll out since the vehicle’s debut nearly eight years ago.
Elon Musk has often referred to the project as being stuck in “production hell.” This bottleneck in manufacturing has significantly impacted Tesla’s ability to meet the surging demand in the trucking industry. However, the company is making strides to address these challenges.
The recent arrival of a colossal press machine—transported from Giga Texas to Giga Nevada—marks a pivotal moment in Tesla’s manufacturing journey. Captured through drone footage by Zanegler, a noted “Tesla Semi Advocate,” this logistical feat is more than just impressive; it is a clear indication that Tesla is gearing up for a transformation in their Semi production line.
With this new GIGA Press, Tesla aims to reduce production time to just 10 minutes per truck. This ambitious target aligns closely with Musk’s vision of producing 50,000 Semis annually, thus positioning Tesla to potentially dominate the global trucking market.
As excitement builds around the advancements in the Tesla Semi production line, fans and industry watchers are eager to see how these innovations will impact Tesla’s ability to deliver on its promises. Will this new approach finally pave the way for Tesla to seize a substantial market share in the trucking industry? Tune in to discover how these developments will shape the future of electric transportation.

No sleeper cab? That’s a no-go for long-haul drivers unless they redesign.
I'm sure these trucks will be perfect — right after they fix the Cybertruck's panel gaps.
At this rate, we’ll have flying trucks before Tesla finishes the charging network.
This feels less like innovation and more like another Musk marketing stunt.
Tesla is great at building hype machines — actual machines? Not so much.
Sounds amazing, but diesel isn’t dead yet — especially with current infrastructure.
Hope they don’t prioritize hype over durability — these trucks will need to work 24/7.
You can’t conquer Space in a rocket ship
Hey i keep watching your videos
It's a beautiful truck Elon Ole buddy, I would be tempted to go back in to truck driving. God bless and charge on.
Confusing the definitions of press and casting is a bad thing. Sorry, thumbs down. Yes, Gigapress is a casting machine but showing a stamping press confuses things.
The Semi will make Big Oil increase their efforts to resist BEVs and Tesla in particular.
suckey AI reader your using and way too many commercials!!!
Every EV car or small truck to date is an over priced scam. I hope that changes. However, the semi could be a winner IF they get the charging infrastructure in place.
No thanks. To heavy, to short of winter time range. There are not enough pull through of super chargers. To expensive. It's too long to get parts.
Love to test drive one on east coast team drivers. We do a run from Rochester N Y to Orlando Fla for FedEx ground.
My guess is 30,000 trucks; increasing to 40,000 the next year. However, selling the first 10,000 might be tough. The charging stations would have to be present for the first 20,000 and tesla has NO charging station between Coeur d' Alene, ID and St. Regis, MT.
Nor between CDA and Kalispell, MT. Two mountain passes have to be gone over. I understand that the Tesla semi will have the power to out run diesel trucks on passes, but that means they have to use battery power to do it. On flat land the Tesla semi will do great.
That means charging stations will be installed on flat land with heavy traffic. I-90 freeway across north Idaho gets a lot of truck traffic (medium according to google – 2500 per day?) There doesn't seem to be accurate data on the truck traffic. When I drive on it I can
usually see 3 trucks and pass another 3 in 60 miles. That doesn't seem very crowded. If the semi gets 500 miles per charge; then figure 400 miles and looking / planning ahead for the next charger. It's about 2900 miles across the usa. 2900/400 = 7 charging spots.
Add one charge for every mountain pass to make 9 charges. If just ten trucks charge per day at one station; that is a lot of megawatts. I think a megapack battery holds about 5 megawatts, so probably 3 packs per station to start out with. For heavier trafftic maybe
10 or 15 megapacks might be necessary. These are just guesses on my part…so do your own research. I think Elon Musk is going to have to invest in SMR nuclear reactors to power the charging stations.
THESE ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL TRUCKS MADE. THEY ARE GORGEOUS. PEPSI COLA ONLY USES THESE TRUCKS IN CALIFORNIA.
A stampings press is not a giga press. It will not make diecastings
❤Indonesia Palestina❤
I like it
i love it, I hate the gear boxes on large trucks!
The future looks bright..and soon!
If the semi is so great, ( I think it is) and a great deal many truckers don’t want one, or think they are bad / companies think they are bad – – then Tesla ought to just not sell them and startup their own trucking company.
The ugliest truck on the planet lol nothing can replace a good ole Peterbilt 379 it probably out pull anything out though but I'll pass sorry Elon make something that's looks good
Tesla Trucks – no countries would be interested. Why, Trumps tariffs have globally lost trust. Already transport trucking companies are laying off truck drivers because shipping imports are at an all time low. Tesla EV cars are already outdated with Mercedes Flux Radial Motors.
As for the cleaner electrical power drive – what does the USA use to power electrical grids " COAL " you dumb American's. 🤣
