I can't think of a more peaceful place than Greece, it's possibly my favorite European country. For the tranquility, food, prices for the food (excluding major tourist locations), what country beats it?

It must have been a real bad impression Gabe, for you to remember that idiot from 2009. But you are right. I visit Greece every year and have seen such scenes. It mostly happens with taxi drivers, bus drivers and some airport workers. What makes a bad impression is the passport control person. She was on her phone, while stamping the passports. Not even looking at the visitor. I told her that she gave a bad picture for arrivals first impression of the country. The same taxi driver that might be nasty while driving you from the airport, would welcome you to his home.
I've been there once. Won't go back.
So beautiful!!! 😊 Thank you for sharing with us!!! 😎💙✌
Greece is a largely a dump. I have some relatives there and there are unfinished buildings everywhere, chained up dogs, trash on the street. The tourist areas are honestly very nice buy the entire country is very dysfunctional and has been for a very long time.

A theatre ? Animal fighting each other ( but this this one doesn’t sound very civilised )?
Why don't you go to the US and live in the American…nightmare? We do not care about the opinions of every Tom, Dick and Harry! 🤮
I knew you would include Japan as one of the most friendly countries. Thats not true at all. Japanese are the most polite people but most definitely not friendly. You could walk around Tokyo for days and not a single person would greet or talk to you.
I worked with a guy in the 90's who was from Greece. He was kinda forced by his family to return to Greece as his family waa in politics and they wanted him to join them. He told me a lot of corruption with public funds was the norm, hence many unfinished public works!! Happy Travels
In summary, the complaints seem to be: 'not very American like? ' *orders $15 waffles and a glass of milk. Please tell me locals took pictures of you with that meal?
My former boss from Greece ,he opened a lot Donut shop in Los Angeles ,Olympic Donut.
The waters in Greece are so astoundingly clear and blue! I'm not even a beach person, but the beach landscapes and water are what attract me the most about the Greek islands. Just gorgeous!
Sorry your Go Pro won't charge up Gabe, that's really a shame! I wonder if there's a way to replace the battery, rather than having to buy a whole new camera?
Looking forward to more from Greece!
Besides the ultra blue seawater, the landscapes remind me of California, So Cal in particular.
I visited Athens in 1997, I was shocked at how dilapidated it looked and the stray dog situation was more then I could take. But I think I will give it another chance someday
I would presume that, because Greece and many of the Greek Islands are quite poor except for tourism, money may run out to complete projects, maintenance, etc.
I no longer live in Greece, but when I did, for many years, all the museums and archaeological sites were closed on Tuesdays.
It's terrible that there are so many ab abandoned buildings in a European country. It reminds me of Mexico. It creates a real blight.
Wow, another gorgeous beach! Endless!!
love the walk and talk
Hello Gabriel, I noticed some of the motorcyclists are not wearing helmets. Is that not a strict rule in Greece in general? And additionally, I so enjoy all your videos of the Greek Islands. My son just finished an Ultra Marathon hosted in Corfu and he told me the course put him through areas where there were amazing views! Also I enjoyed your video of Larnaca in Cyprus. My Sister currently lives there and loves it. Thanks again for these videos!
Perfect place, beautiful waterfalls and beaches 😍
35:35 most tourists do go in the water … Nidri waterfall, I went in the water very cold 😂
41:50 the earthquake in the 1950s destroyed so many of the old Greek buildings on the Ionian islands
, hence Lefkada, Zante etc are not as pretty re architecture
Another great video! Bro, waffel ice cream for breakfast? Man dont fall of your horse, take care!
Fantastic video!
Your discription of tough life of Greek people is becoming a common theme in Europe and America. Many European countries don't produce anything the world wants to buy. I can't even remember reading a label saying made in Greece or Portugal or Many other European countries. Things are likely to get worse for Europe as more and more Asian countries are growing with a younger workforce and a hunger to succeed. Which is lacking in Europe and the West. On top they have a bigger problem with the migrants from Middle Eastern countries.
