I heard that the ghost flight problem was a big thing during the opening months of the COVID-19 pandemic in March and April 2020, as the airlines could still lose their time slots even if no-one could travel anywhere due to the immense restrictions in place at that time. Is there any way to book a ghost flight to fly on or is it a matter of knowing the right times and routes? Are unpopular travel times of year (say February in Canada or northern Europe) better if you want a chance at getting a ghost flight?
Sensation hungry blah blah. Air travel is still by far the safest way of travel
