The Nixon Years | 60 Minutes Archive 1225pm 8.8.24 somewhat telling that folk are forced to accept him or like him. he could be the biggest patsy in history or saw the job as a get rich quick scheme. or was just a victim of democrat… nay, american paranoia per se. a strange piece of history which i have yet to involve myself with.
Nixon wanted to take away funding for PBS if he had his way we would not have mr Roger's Neighborhood sesame's street and other programs
"I'm not a crook"-Richard Nixon
I remember the Nixon years. Compared to today Richard was a saint. The corruption has done nothing but get worse. Thanks for sharing.
Watergate legacy never forgotten by American people
Nixon un delincuente y criminal que le hizo muchísimo daño a Latinoamérica, especialmente al Chile de la Unidad Popular de Salvador Allende.
How things have changed. The interviewer asks a question, not one 2 minutes long, then lets the interviewee answer the question, without constant interruption. Then he uses their words to continue, not pursuing his own agenda, and keeps the interview going to where he wants it to go. Journalists seeking answers not sound bites.
War Criminal Henry Kissinger….CIA Coup in Chile…Army officer, and mass murderer William Calley served 3 and a half years under house arrest.
I was a teenager during the Nixon era. To this day his face turns my stomach. What a horrible man.
Freedom is in segregation
Watergate was nothing compared to the upheaval we are witnessing now, a sitting president manipulated and tossed to the scrap heap by a puppet master while installing a cackling Hyena and shoving her down our throats.
There's a reason why the man was re-elected by a large margin. I know the liberals mostly hate him, but he was a damn solid President particularly in the foreign policy realm.
I blame Gerald Ford's Nixon pardon for the lack of accountability in politics that we see today. Especially when it comes to the Executive Branch. Nixon should have been prosecuted for his Watergate crimes, and most likely should have served time in prison. It set a dangerous precedent which gave us Reagan's Iran-Contra Affair, W Bush's illegal invasion of Iraq & subsequent illegal torture, Obama's indiscriminate drone killings, and the granddaddy cluster$u#k of them all: Donald Trump….
🙄Im not gonna watch this video, but im gonna guess the story is gonna be "blah blah blah Nixon/Republicans was bad,,,, blah blah blah something about Trump/Republicans being bad, like Nixon, yadda yadda yadda"… please tell me if im right or wrong.
Auditor won. Cops know. We need to know. We Americans win.
last good president
Is this an anniversary or something?
🇹🇬🇹🇬
I remember the Nixon years..a stone cold mess in the end.
Imagine this ticket we are looking at…You can't even Get Kamala to answer a single question. Not even tell us how she would fix the economy or the border we just suppose to be puppets and do as we are told. I didnt vote for her why is she the nominee? All set im changing parties and voting for trump this time.
sounds like what we are going through right now
Erlechman and nixon are long lost brothers
Nixon was the BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He just got caught with his pants down
I remember Nixxon taking us off of the Gold Standard. Instead we would use currency. I was 12 and wondering why? Before we could take 10 grand to the bank and walk out with Gold or Silver. Afterwards you have to buy it retail at twice the price and pay taxes on it.
Another fail was the MSR project. Molten salt reactor. Burned Thorium. 20 times the efficiency of modern reactors, non proliferating, walk away safe, and the one he had destroyed ran 20,000 hours without a hiccup. All material was destroyed. The world needs safe reactors. This one burned the burned fuel waste of other reactors. 95% efficient.
BO signed into law the ability for Congress and Media to "Propagandize" the public. 2015. That must go away and the 99% of the media should not be owned by 5 massive corporations that feed off of every dollar we spend.
But we haven't learned anything yet
Look who's interviewing……Mike Wallace…..KING of LIARS!
When Nixon ended the Vietnam War you would have thought the Media would have made him their darling. It was the worst mistake of his Presidency. The Media, controlled by the Globalist Cabal, sent a message to all future Presidents. To end a War means the less a Government has to borrow. It also means the less profits the Military Industrial Complex can generate – especially Defense Contractors. Presidents who end wars too quickly or avoid wars are targeted. Maybe Napoleon was right when he said, "Perpetual Wars for Perpetual Indebtedness" Thomas Jefferson was more succint when he said, "Central Banks are more dangerous than standing armies."
Can a State tax an American Gold or Silver Eagle produced by the United States Mint?
Watergate does not bother me,
Does your conscience bother you?
Watergate was a total scam. Nixon wasn’t even involved. The government lawfare machine took him down.
Another great coup by Democrats
My dad used to call him potato nose😅😅
Strength and intelligence.
When 60 minutes used to be great.
I think a lot of y’all like him because he wasn’t really trying to budge on rights for black people. And that’s what y’all miss.
