At Makola Market, they try dishes like Tsofi, deep-fried turkey tail served with fried yam and SHITO (hot black pepper), and Gob3/Red-Red, a beans stew with fried ripped plantain. They also sample Tuo-Zaafi, a corn flour porridge with ayoyo leaf soup and cow organs, cooked by the talented Hajia Habiba.

As the night falls, they head to Osu Night Market, where they indulge in delicious street food like Chibom, a pressed omelette sandwich, and Shinkafa, rice and spaghetti with stew topped with cow skin “Wele.” The highlight of the night is Domedo, roasted pork marinated with blended ginger, pepper, and onion, served with suya powder and onions.
