NOT to profit from insulin, ha. Thank goodness many people from the US cross the border into Mexico to buy their insulin at affordable prices, yes, same quality.
Would be great to know Novo's sale price of Ozempic to US pharma. Yes, there are other costs involved in providing a product; however, the report suggests IT IS NOT Novo doing the big mark ups $$, mmh.
now tell us is novo nor disk stock will claim its crown again after Wall Street beat it up badly the last couple months?
"The Baltic"?
What an insult…Denmark is NOT a Baltic country. 🤔🇩🇰 Baltic countries is eastern Europe and Denmark is the Northern Europe called Scandinavia. Doesn't 60 minutes know that ? 😳
Imagine that , NO PHARMACEUTICAL GREED !!!
If only … 😌… 🇺🇸 😤
Tyrifiyng
Next step: invent more diabetics
Impressive. … good and wish to be Danish… want to live their !
Just came back from a stay at Ubberup adult education. Lars was one of my teachers. Learned a lot ! Looking forward to going back ☺ ! Lars is so right.., so much depends on you willing to change your lifestyle. Medicine is not gonna do it for you !
So, wegovy and Ozempic are the same drug. Made by the same company. One has been marketed for weight loss and the other for diabetes. One costs a fortune, and the other costs about $100 less. The company is profiteering off this something crazy.
Denmark, is part of Scandinavia, not the Baltics. The Baltics is not part of Scandinavia. 44 seconds in, you ruined the rest of the message, because you cannot think for your self.
Tiny? We are the biggest in Europe after Russia. And if we count ezz then…
And we are by far the largest by area by Capita. Almost a km2 per person. If you count Siberia and Sahara and Alaska then Greenland is more than worthy of counting too.
I think Anders is forgetting some Danish giants: LEGO, the world’s biggest toy company; DSV, the largest logistics firm globally; and Maersk, the leader in container shipping worldwide!
This is a drug for stupid people or diabetics. Calories are calories.
For a company that's charging Americans 100 times more than everybody else, this is way too nice of a portrayal. Their Insulin story is als not as nice as portrayed, as they're only one of three companies producing it and very much part of that cartel, regardless of the original patent's license agreement to be "for the benefit of society". But of course, Novo Nordisk's ad spending with CBS is significant.
Denmark is not a Baltic country sir. Try again 🙂
My friend Kel Varnson, recommended this to me so I saw my doctor, Dr. Van Nostrand and he prescribed it to me. I've lost a few pounds so far.
If your interested, Novo Nordisk stock represents good value right now, its recently dipped and buying at a discount makes a lot of of sense, it's the current market leader with Ozempic/Wegovy
It’s astonishing that people are proudly celebrating the Ozempic being manufactured in Denmark, cheering for its global success and profit domination, while failing to see the deeper issue. This isn’t progress—it’s a well-crafted deception. The pharmaceutical industry, with its relentless marketing, fools people into believing that their struggles with obesity can be solved with a pill while conveniently sidestepping the real causes: poor diet, toxic environmental factors, and unsustainable lifestyle choices. Instead of addressing the root of the problem—processed foods, sedentary habits, and endocrine disruptors—this so-called “solution” merely masks symptoms while introducing a host of side effects. It’s not just a disservice; it’s an exploitation of human vulnerability for corporate gain, leaving society trapped in an endless cycle of dependency and misinformation.
God Bless Denmark, and the Danish People and Europe and the European People/The White Race Forever.
