In recent months, Tesla has been facing a series of challenges that have led to a nearly 50% decrease in its market cap. These challenges include repeated attacks and vandalism against the electric vehicle company, including a recent incident in Las Vegas.
One of the key factors being scrutinized is Elon Musk’s close association with President Trump. As Tesla’s global EV deliveries fell by 13% last quarter, questions have emerged about Musk’s political involvement and whether it is affecting Tesla’s success.
The alliance between Trump and Musk has been a topic of discussion, with many wondering how their relationship is influencing Tesla’s performance. WSJ’s Aaron Zitner takes a closer look at the fallout of this alliance and how it has impacted Tesla’s market cap.
As anti-Tesla campaigns continue to grow and the company faces challenges in the market, it remains to be seen how Musk’s association with Trump will affect the future of Tesla. With uncertainties looming, the electric vehicle company will need to navigate the political landscape carefully to regain its standing in the market.

"Fires" – the new word for arson and terrorism.
You guys don't get it. Musk could lose all of Tesla income and it won't matter. Governments and starlink subscribers are pouring billions into his pockets every month.
But your Murdoch newspaper has been pushing articles about buying Teslas.
WSJ conduct a whole segment and didn’t talk about the stock once. 🤔
We get it WSJ you're in bed with the Democratic party. You lost the election so stop crying. 😅
Go do some research about why Tesla sales went down. Let me give you a clue they shut down the factory for weeks to remodel the Model Y. They lost about 70k in sales. God forbid you do some research.
03:06 ??????😂😂😂😂😂😂
Elon is beyond tesla… as more work comes to the us and trump expells illegal immigrants that tend to be cheap labor and the us population cant support all work coming our way…who is going to save us? Oh yeah… elon is making robots… what a coincidence… Elons biggest competition in his biggest markets for humanoid robots is low cost labor tied to immigration, no wonder he supports parties that align with harsher immigration policies
Why does numb nobody talk about SORROS and his influence. Why is everything so one-sided?
Keep it up he’s still breathing
americans are rich, they can afford to pay 25% more for new car, and they will, they voted for this, greets from EU
It certainly was a pretty dumb thing to align with the guys who hate your eco-friendly cars.
This is just the beginning, tesla is doomed. BYD and elon himself, will kill tesla. Sell your tesla stocks if you have any.
Anyone who voted Trump caused this recession/depression. Still think Woke, DEI and Antifa are the threats to you and yours? LOL… K…
not that i like tesla…but tesla isn't the only thing down 50%
Such a sad slur on a great and generous man..
Funny. The Volkswagen used to be the Nazi car, but now it's the Tesla.
Musk asked for it, he's getting it. Please continue.
Porsche , wahr direkt bei hitler ??? Und?
Trump und musk für Deutschland 👍👍👍🇺🇸
Terror and fear have led to the stock price decline. What do you think happened to the evil after 9/11?!
This piece reads like explaining to rich people whats going on in real every day America. WSJ out of touch as always.
Hey Hey Ho Ho Elons Musk has Got to Go! i mean it is a catchy tune…
I work for a construction company in Belgium. We build buildings from 30m€ to 500-600m€. We got an e-mail a couple of weeks ago announcing that we now are no longer allowed to choose Tesla as company car. Very happy about this. I myself had no issues choosing a Kia EV6, a brand I absolutely adore, over a Tesla. Not only because their leader is a corrupt arrogant selfish manipulator, but also because Teslas are just… meh quality and ugly.
😂 huh
Good
Finally some good news
