The Value of Justice: Why We Are Worth It | Zara Northover | TEDxNortheasternU – Video

In her TEDx talk, “We are Worth The Cost of Justice,” Zara Northover delivers a powerful message about the importance of investing in justice for all individuals. Drawing from her experiences as a lawyer and social justice advocate, Northover highlights the systemic inequalities that exist within our legal system and the significant barriers that marginalized communities face when seeking justice.

Northover emphasizes that while the cost of justice may seem high, the price of injustice is much greater. She argues that failing to invest in accessible and equitable legal systems ultimately perpetuates cycles of poverty, discrimination, and inequality.

Through engaging storytelling and thought-provoking insights, Northover challenges listeners to recognize their own privilege and to advocate for more just and inclusive legal practices. She calls on society to recognize the inherent worth of every individual and to prioritize justice as a fundamental right.

“We are Worth The Cost of Justice” is a compelling and inspiring call to action, urging us to stand up for what is right and to ensure that everyone has equal access to justice.
