As a travel journalist, I had the opportunity to watch an episode of Itchy Boots where the host attempted to leave Iran and enter Iraq on her motorcycle. The episode titled “They don’t let me leave IRAN 🇮🇷” showcases her journey of covering 250 kilometers in Iran, only to face unexpected obstacles at the border.
In the video, the host encounters a setback when the stamp in her Carnet de Passage is incorrect, leading to customs authorities in Iran refusing to let her leave the country. This unexpected turn of events highlights the challenges that can arise when embarking on a solo motorcycle adventure through foreign lands.
The episode provides a glimpse into the unpredictable nature of travel and the resilience required to navigate through unforeseen circumstances. It also offers valuable insights into the importance of preparation and attention to detail when undertaking cross-border travel, especially in regions with strict customs regulations.
Overall, the episode serves as a reminder of the adventurous spirit of solo travelers and the determination needed to overcome obstacles in pursuit of exploration and discovery.

Why didn't you go from Erbil to Mosul and from Mosul to Baghdad? Wasn't it easier?
Itchy boots can be an excellent reminder that life really is good overall and worth holding onto.. 💯🙏🌎🥃☕️💙🏴✨️🎄🙌

Since I discovered Noraly , I say to everyone that her smile is the best weapon in hostile environments.
Take good care miss beautiful
I love how she adjusts to the changing cultures as she moves along. Wearing the head scarf no drama. That’s character and integrity.
I hate kickstarters and kickstarting.
Hello itchy a long time follower from Lagos
Just want to check on you 😊
I think that you look so dignified/honourable with that hijaab.

Hey grlllll,,, If you put it in fourth or fifth before you stall it out it's less of a jerk👍
That gas station attendants name tag 😂 “dead inside”
Iam Majid kahiha .one of your followers .I live in Qazvin. Iran
If you pass through the city of Qazvin. On your way you are welcome to be my guest.🤚🏻🤚🏻❤
Notably your too innocent. Those border guys didn’t come to check up on you because they were nice. They were ordered to check up on you to make sure you were where you said you’d be and where you were going. They helped you find the best way to get where you wanted to so they could tell there superiors where you were going. Iran is a secret police state. God bless your innocent heart lol
2:51 God bless you always
No comments about the gas station attendant with a "DEAD INSIDE" patch on his uniform?
Noraly, you bring out the weirdest emotions in men and women. As a man, I look up to you, you are amazing, but you have also given a voice to women. Women can be strong and confident like you. The don't have to go to such extremes, but their voice can be heard from you.
Dont go in this 3. World Lands…….
Nice music from zambia

Hello, first of all, I watch your videos, they are very nice and I enjoy them. I am a Turk. There is a culture in the borders of Türkiye, Iran, Iraq or this geography. We never make our guests pay at the restaurant. I wish you a safe and successful trip. I wanted to say this too. Your name is Norlay. Its meaning in Arabic and Turkish. They loved your name very much because it was the name of Ali, the cousin of our Prophet Muhammad. When you say your name Noraly, it quickly means: Nur Ali. That is, the light of Allah, Ali. You have a very beautiful name. 🙏🙏🙏🇹🇷🇹🇷
Noraly menurut saya sebaiknya kamu servis motor terlebih dahulu…biar elektronik stater nya mudah (normal) … Jadi tidak menggunakan kick stater terus
Greetings from India ! Hope you are doing well. How often do you lube the chain, never seen that often enough ?
At age 19, my family brought me to the U.S., and ever since, I've missed the hospitality of my people.
well done
Dear Noraly, I really enjoy following your adventures that I have been doing for a long time, I like your determination and courage in facing the difficulties of the journey, I admire your cheerful and helpful spirit towards the people you meet.
But I confess that I was very worried during your entry, fortunately rapid exit from Iran, because at the same time an Italian journalist, Cecilia Sala was kidnapped and imprisoned for 21 days in the toughest prison in Tehran. She was freed thanks to the intervention of the Italian government with an exchange agreement with an engineer accused of espionage by the Americans and arrested in Italy.
I hope you take these eventualities into account when crossing places that are not on good terms with Western countries.
I wish you a good trip and I will continue to follow you even if I have never been a motorcyclist, in fact I tried, but I always fell…🙃🙃
Bye
Only the politicians ruins the world
Why would people smuggle gas from Iran into Iraq? I thought Iraq had super cheap gas?
it is normal for IRAN.I admire your patience.
Got to be the bravest woman I ever saw.
Stop going to these countries.
I just love how everybody gathers around the bike to try help in some way ❤️ You'd never get that here. Nobody cares.
I'm an Iranian and I live about 34 years in the Nederland! Let be honest the European when they visite another country they try to show themselves as polite and generous but when you're in their own country they are not so polite or generous to foreigners and they treat them like second class citizens! Also they have really close society and they don't let you in! But we as Iranian feel responsible to the foreigners as our gusts to respect them and help them, this is our culture! It's not possible that you visit an Iranian family in their houses at the time of eating, and they let you sit beside and watch them to eat their food!!! They will even push you to sit beside them and eat with them! But in Europe, if the same situation happens, then you should sit till their finish their food and then they will serve you maybe with a coffie! 🙄
Long love Iran
