A disturbing incident occurred at a North Carolina library when an elderly man and two others were allegedly attacked by an angry anti-Israel mob. Monica Buckley, David Moritz, and Bob Campbell claim they were physically assaulted by around two dozen people after live streaming an “anarchist bookfair” event at the West Asheville Public Library in Asheville.
The trio had attended a seminar titled “Strategic Lessons from the Palestinian Resistance” which was organized by the “Another Carolina Anarchist Bookfair.” However, things took a violent turn when attendees noticed that the event was being filmed and streamed on social media.
This shocking incident sheds light on the dangers of extremist ideologies and the lengths some individuals will go to in order to silence opposing viewpoints. It is a stark reminder of the importance of dialogue, tolerance, and respect for differing opinions.
The victims of this attack deserve justice and our thoughts are with them as they recover from this traumatic experience. It is imperative that such acts of violence are condemned and that those responsible are held accountable for their actions.
