All of these islands are classified as Level 1 – Exercise Normal Precautions by the U.S. Department of State. White this is the lowest level advisory and travelers should still be aware of the normal risks of any international travel.


Lying south of Guadeloupe and north of Martinique in the Eastern Caribbean, Dominica is the youngest Caribbean Island and the last to be colonized, ultimately earning its independence on November 3, 1978.
