This was, again, a good one. The dishes all looked incredibly delicious. So nice to see the Creole/Cajun flavors & cooking running through our country. What a true gift. Thank you! =)
You forgot to mention smoque bbq in Chicago.
you had me up until you added the seafood… HARD PASS
not even close to Lousiana cooking. Good try though
I love trying to go to the places Guy has been to. I got the list from Wikipedia
Myself being from south Louisiana (south of New Orleans) I trust nobody’s cuisine out of Louisiana period
I'm really sorry but as an Australian I cannot imagine eating catfish ever. We consider them the vermin of the sea here.
I’m sharing some recipe tips for my lucky fans.
I grew up with calling crayfish "craw dads ". From my grandma Hilda. When I was 10; I caught some from our little creek. My mom freaked out as I cooked them over a little fire I'd made.😂😂
I lived in the south for a few years. One of my favorite things to do southern was to get the seafood people at the Winn Dixie to steam some craw dads with spicy old bay seasoning and a couple of the free local newspapers, and take those to the park and eat lunch. Use the paper to cover our spot on the table, quick clean up at the end of our feast. Local gal showed me peanuts in pepsi and that was the drink of choice for our picnic. Its memorable, one that'll be hung onto!😊
