According to military officials, Kobeisi was killed in the strike on Beirut, where he was reportedly accompanied by other key commanders at the time. While the fate of these other commanders remains unknown, the Israeli military did not confirm whether they were killed or wounded in the attack.
The news of Kobeisi’s death comes as the two sides continue to exchange fire, with thousands of people fleeing from southern Lebanon amid fears of an all-out war breaking out.
