US Army military police soldiers play a vital role in protecting Army posts and overseeing military prisons and detention centers for uniformed criminals. Business Insider had the opportunity to spend four days at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri to witness how 31 Bravos and 31 Echos undergo 10 weeks of rigorous training to become military police and detention specialists. The training includes learning skills like riot control, detainee operations, and firing weapons like 9-millimeters in limited visibility with the aid of their flashlight.
With the Army announcing a restructuring of its force in early 2024, focusing more on large-scale combat operations, it raises questions about the impact on the 1,306 military police soldiers training at Fort Leonard Wood. As the Army shifts away from counterinsurgency operations towards potential conflicts with countries like China and Russia, the need for skilled military police soldiers remains paramount for the safety of Army bases worldwide.
This in-depth look at how military police soldiers are trained provides valuable insight into the dedication and skills needed for this crucial role within the US Army. The intense training and preparation showcased in this video highlight the rigorous standards that these soldiers must meet to ensure the security and protection of Army personnel and facilities.

MPs are a bunch of snitching, cage kicking, glorified security guards and they don’t know how to have a good time
They need to give them a harder time on that shield wall, cus if I’m rioting I’m not doin no lil ass kick😂
Good u s future way business 😊❤️🇺🇸
I really want to enlist as a MP but I know I’m not really fit for the job, you need good resilience and the ability to butt in when something is wrong.
I applaud MP for doing a job that gets so much hate in the military.
I like how the Marine in the beginning is the one fighting lol
MPs and cooks. Worst mfs alive. POGs.
🤔 anyone else getting quiet a bit of suggestions from the algorithm filled with stuff like this lately? 😅😂
Honestly there's no good reason why civilian law enforcement in the USA doesn't have this level of thorough training.
i have no clue why they have more low visibility training than regular military
Stormtroopers of the WEF Global Governance future no doubt. Smh too brainwashed by the system, to see the evil sh*t the elite are using them for.
Change The Asvab !
YOU’RE DAMN RIGHT THEY’RE PARTY KILLERS AND SNITCHES
Do one for every MOS in the military!
every city/county/state cop in america should have this as their mandatory training
I watched this to see my old instructors. I graduated just last year. This brought back memories.
Only people I know who will pull you over for doing 26 in a 25 and throw the book at you for being in the same Army getting the same paycheck at the same base. Really awkward to see those chumps at the PX when you know what they did the weekend before.
