What kind of return on investment can Tesla expect from underwater tourism, especially if the market proves to be saturated?
Navigating maritime laws, safety regulations, and insurance for submarines could complicate and delay Tesla’s submarine plans.
Operating underwater at great depths presents severe safety risks, including pressure damage and battery hazards.
Lithium-ion batteries may not withstand underwater conditions, creating potential reliability and safety concerns.
The massive costs of building facilities and developing specialized tech would strain Tesla’s resources and delay other projects.
The market for personal submarines is tiny, limiting the long-term profitability of this concept.
Given Tesla’s focus on cars and space, can they really allocate the resources needed to develop an entirely new industry for submarines?
Producing and disposing of large-scale submarine batteries could lead to environmental harm, especially in marine ecosystems.
How long would it take Tesla to refine and perfect the technology, and could they stay competitive with other companies already in the submarine industry?
Developing a commercial submarine in 10–15 years seems overly optimistic, given Tesla’s current priorities and the immense R&D investment required.
Tesla Sales Drop 60 Percent in the Netherlands
Tesla sales in the Netherlands plummeted by more than 60 percent last month to 1,536 units. In the first quarter of this year, sales halved to less than 3,500 cars. Sales of the American electric car manufacturer are also falling sharply in other countries.
It's an April FOOLS video.. folks
😅😅😅😅😅😅
🌊Whether this is true or not doesn't matter. The video still made my 💗 pitter-patter. Always had an obsession with the oceans and seas that hold hidden mysteries. 🌊The waters on our planet…Beauty, life, flow, energy, peace, strength, fierce.
The Rv industry would be a far larger money maker 😊
A car that can operate underwater!🤠
April fool's day!
going to have to have a bathroom/head…
When it comes to Tesla technology in a submarine,it would be very limited. Nuclear power would have to be integrated in the design.
When will Musk think about quickly building autonomous 'two seat' taxi drones' before they miss the boat with other brands from abroad.
Because that atomic air traffic is more efficient than just hanging on the ground and in water, the old is also polluting for groundwater.
A life with less asphalt roads and old infrastructure that does not always have to be completely renewed in the future.
Please do not make the main compartment out of Carbon Fibre.
Elon is
Nice our tax money should make us money, a tugging sub with a defense sub. America should have a better shipping company or something.
Wow the Navy Seals could use these. Underwater Military It's very necessary so many men have been killed because of inadequate underwater vehicles.
I got an updated fusion 360 model and a privately owned quantum computer
And I've been slowly installing quantum computer chips on chatgpt and Google Gemini (I think they use a Majorana chip)
So I can drag and drop entire 3D models with building instructions digitally
For like submarines and space-probes
I don't really do satellites,
It's Vimanas, or Vahanas basically at that point
Very good, submarines are a prof of point evolution, they faster and can help humanity's cause to evolve.
I love it imagine float on the surface charge with solar and wind !!! Small gen to charge while running on the surface when weather gets bad dive . And keep rolling yeeeeehaaa !!!
Not to mention it's already being done. Y someone else !!
Best to design something that has never been and fits into a small package easy to move easy to sell the perfect niche every single person would use .
Hmmmmmm ok light weight small easy to ship ok time to design what's never been done every one would buy easy to build no liability high profit gain on now I got something to work on.
Elon, amphibious car please 🙏
The koolest submarine that I have seen in the movies was the Flying-Sub from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. The Tesla Sub would be great to have on our oceans and other planets' oceans. What a great idea!
I like to see a Tesla flying car. 😇
ELON ROCKS! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TO BECOME A REALITY! LETS GO TESLA!!
