The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) officials have given an update on the deadly plane crash that occurred in Washington D.C. The officials stated that they have a “high level of confidence” that they will be able to retrieve a full download from the flight recorder recovered from the crash site.
The crash, which resulted in multiple fatalities, has prompted an investigation by the NTSB to determine the cause of the incident. The recovery of the flight recorder is a crucial step in piecing together what happened leading up to the crash.
NTSB officials are working diligently to analyze the data from the flight recorder in order to gain insight into the events that led to the tragic incident. They are committed to conducting a thorough investigation to uncover the underlying factors that contributed to the crash.
The NTSB’s update on the progress of the investigation provides some hope for answers for the families and loved ones of those affected by the crash. As more information becomes available, the NTSB will continue to provide updates on their findings.

Jan 21st
Hiring freeze imposed on all the
Air Traffic Controllers by Trump.
My investigation is complete , the feds wont tell who the third pilot was because she was a d.e.i. hire and also there was at least one air traffic controller on duty who is a woman , ……….
This year has been rough already. So many tragedies.
Hoping for some peace and good news for the rest of 2025.
Thanks for zero information.
Who did strong light on the ground ??
The Crash was Donald Trump fault! They fired necessary pilots needed for training in that area! Why is NO ONE reporting this???. The Families need to know they were short staffed on that helicopter. Why is No one Screaming Impeach NOW! Omg! This is Fu@$%cken crazy!

Lot of planes from falling out of the sky under President Musk’s watch since his inauguration.
The reflection of the light to pilot makes lost control .who did that’s.
so good to see Jerry Gergich moving up in the world! first slinging paper, now heading NTSB media briefs!
Everything about DEI needs to stop
I have great respect for NTSB. Under such pressure from the media, they hold their steady feet. So many self appointed "experts" already jumped into their own conclusions, not them, not until all facts are gathered and analyzed.
So, this has nothing to do with ATC or DEI or the pilots of both the Blackhawk or the AA flight.
The ATC communications were clear, PAT25 the Blackhawk did not respond to 2 communications from the ATC, which means it may have been a malfunction on comms on the Blackhawks end.
I don't think it was the Blackhawk pilot fault, the comms were clear from the ATC but their was no response and the closing speed of the Blackhawk to the AA plane means he did not have enough time to react quick enough probably due to lack of comms due to the malfunction to avoid the plane.
Its terrible, its an accident.
Prayers for the families and friends for all the victims and the ATC who witnessed the crash.
how many controllers were there when this happened? is that acceptable by FTA?
The only government organization I trust is the NTSB. It’d be nice if all of government was like the NTSB.
I blame the last person that fueled it up. if he/she/it had not this would of never happened
How a press conference should be delivered, conducted, and controlled
Next accident is in Philly now
now the heli pilot has been identified as a white family guy with 10+ years of flight experience, how is the NTSB going to blame it on DEI? trump will need to replace the "experts" with faux news hosts.
he said dividing and conquering??

This is so heartbreaking wow
Does anyone know who was flying the helicopter?
I am mesmerized by channels such as Mayday and several others. Having watched many, I have a good idea of how the NTSB conducts its painstaking investigations. Everything I am seeing so far is by the book. The work starts in the tower cab as soon after the crash as possible, with interviews with the ATCs. The specific controller has also been drug and alcohol tested immediately, even before interviews begin right by the controller's station. Their radar data are recorded and can be played back. The radio calls are recorded. I expect this entire process to take at least a year. All the data on the recorders, assuming there was no damage, must be retrieved and analyzed. There is the fine-tooth-combing of the wrecks to see where precisely what hit what, where did the rotors impact, what parts came off first, the detail is astounding, but when they get through, they will have as clear a picture of what really happened as is humanly possible. Meantime, I will not speculate. No one should. Until the NTSB finishes, no one should imagine knowing what happened. The reams of data you'd need will simply be unavailable to you.
Omg this guy reminds me of John Candy
