Our 2023 Kia EV6 GT has reached an impressive milestone, surpassing 8,500 miles over eight months of driving. As we continue to put this electric vehicle through its paces, we can confidently say that its performance is still the main highlight of the ride.
With rising temperatures, we’re able to fully utilize the EV6 GT’s summer performance tires and all-wheel drive capabilities. The sticky rubber allows us to push the boundaries and take on our favorite back road corners with confidence, although we still need to be mindful of its powerful 545 ft-lbs of torque.
During recent night drives, we noted a few improvements that could be made, such as the high-beam headlights not being as strong as expected and the head-up display potentially being more of a distraction than a help. However, overall, the interior of the EV6 GT remains spacious and comfortable, with the multi-control touch panel proving to be user-friendly.
