Unpacking Iran’s Arsenal: The Weapons Used in Attacks on Israel
As tensions escalate in the Middle East, Iranian missile strikes have become a focal point in the ongoing conflict with Israel. While leaders in the United States and Europe cling to the hope of diplomatic resolutions, Israel finds itself bracing for a drawn-out confrontation with its regional adversary. The stakes are high and the costs crystal clear, as both military and civilian life is deeply affected by this relentless exchange of firepower.
The conflict has seen dozens of Iranian missiles breach Israel’s advanced air defense systems. Reports indicate that Israel could soon face shortages in the interceptor missiles that are vital for mitigating Iranian attacks. This alarming potential for a supply crisis adds another layer of complexity to an already volatile situation.
Israel’s Defense Strategies
In the opening segment of the video "What kind of weapons has Iran used in its attacks on Israel?" viewers gain insight into the mechanisms Israel employs to safeguard its territory from missile threats. From the Iron Dome system, which intercepts short-range threats, to other multi-layered defense strategies, Israel remains committed to fortifying its airspace. Military experts highlight the effectiveness of these systems but acknowledge that even the most sophisticated defenses are not foolproof.
Expert Analysis
Featuring Wes Rumbaugh from the Missile Defense Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the video probes deeper into the intricacies of missile defense and the challenges presented by new Iranian technologies. Rumbaugh provides critical perspectives on the current state of Israel’s defenses, underlining how the evolving nature of missile warfare complicates Israel’s military strategies.
Voices from the Ground
Correspondent Tania Krämer offers on-the-ground insights into how everyday Israelis are coping with the constant threat of missile attacks. As sirens wail and alerts sound, citizens must navigate a new reality characterized by uncertainty and fear. The psychological toll on the population is immense, with many grappling not just with the immediate dangers of attacks, but also the long-term impact of living under such persistent threat.
In the latter part of the video, viewers are taken further into the lives of those directly affected by this conflict. How do they adapt to the risks? What measures are in place to provide support? Through personal stories, the video paints a vivid picture of resilience amidst adversity, underscoring the human dimension of a conflict often viewed through a purely political or military lens.
Conclusion
As the conflict between Iran and Israel continues to develop, it epitomizes the harsh realities of modern warfare. With a mix of advanced weaponry, intricate defense systems, and the indomitable human spirit, this narrative is far from over. As Israel prepares for a potentially prolonged war, understanding the weapons at play becomes crucial not only for military strategists but for all who wish to comprehend this ongoing struggle.

So. They should have thought things out beforehand.
Another "attrition" war?
Iran has 80milion more people lol
Is this guy blowing trumps golden domes horn😊
lol, splash screen should read "Iran has fired 80% of it's GDP since June 13"
Iran's new multi-headed missiles are reeking havoc on Israel.
Israel is now spending nearly 1 billion dollars (USD 725 million) per day solely on military operations. The staggering cost underscores the scale and complexity of the conflict that has now entered its second week. The financial toll on the nation is becoming increasingly unsustainable.
The first 48 hours of hostilities alone cost Israel approximately USD 1.45 billion. Of this, USD 593 million went into offensive operations such as airstrikes, munitions, and the use of fighter jets, including costly F-35 sorties. The remaining funds were allocated to defensive systems, including Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and the Arrow missile defense systems, as well as mobilization of reservists.
These are direct costs only, iindirect costs such as damage to civilian infrastructure, lost productivity, and impact on GDP cannot be fully assessed at this stage.
The financial strain is partly driven by Israel's reliance on high-cost missile interceptors including Arrow system missiles which reportedly cost between USD 3to 4 million per interception, David’s Sling interceptors are estimated at USD 700,000 each, while F-35 fighter jets, a mainstay of Israeli air superiority, cost about USD 10,000 per flight hour.
With frequent barrages and intercepts taking place daily, costs are escalating quickly.
Who do you think is paying for this? U.S. taxpayers.
Joining in Israel’s aggression against Iran would hurt, not advance, U.S. interests and
U.S. military involvement in Israel’s offensive carries a high risk of becoming an endless war. Trump may believe he can do a one-and-done, such as dropping bunker-busters on Fordow and then declaring mission accomplished, but this is unlikely to be the end of the U.S. combat with Iran. The probable Iranian dispersion of nuclear facilities and materials, possibly following an Iranian decision to build a bomb clandestinely, will mean a prolonged search-and-destroy mission. It will become one more instance of Israel “mowing the lawn,” and only this mowing will also involve the United States.
Prolonged war? The war with Hamas lasted almost 2 years. The war with Hezbollah is on-going (so also 2 years). So, Israel is ready for this thing to go for a year or more. Is Iran ready for that? I don't think so. They aren't conditioned like people of Israel. They will break quickly.
4 million! American dollars hmm
400 und wieviele haben getroffen? 😂 Wer hat denn Angst vor diesen Hinterwäldlern?
Don't worry about the lack of interceptors, they were already useless against newer missiles. Your so-called 'expert' has no idea what he is talking about. They are still firing a lot of interceptors and you can clearly see it at some point even 6-8 at one missile and, there are several videos showing the Arrow system malfunctioning.
Attacked? Pretty sure they’re retaliating.
Talk about manufacturing consent 🤣
How do you live like this? Maybe if u stopped attacking all your neighbors and helped to build them up u could live in peace….
I like this lady interviewer, asking all relevant questions.
They didn’t prepare for attacking Iran?
You will no accept because you are pathologically biased towards east.
IT'S NOT AS GOOD AS THEY CLAIM/WANT IT TO BE.
This guy is dreaming 🤣
Iran has shown the ability to strike anywhere in Israel, at any time, and they don't even need an Airforce.
Israel gamble has not come up. It's have a tough time can be seen in bibi body language.
Stop the war please! Netanyahu is a horrible person!
Your guest is very fixated – Needs to do more research on facts
At this point calling what is happeing in Gaza a 'War' is more than journalistik malpractice!
Iran has secret information that IDF is hiding under all of these buildings.
I think Israel airforce is grounded
What kind of weapons has Israel used in its attacks on Iran ?
Ruzzia is firing 400 per day…
😂😂😂 шо цэ таке мордашки грустные
They have been feed for this war so they seem to be ready , but coming days they will realise that it is false flag war as all other wars.
