Thats child trafficking by patents and child labour by social media compsnies
As long as people want lots of money by any means they'll continue selling their children.
Sharenting is child abuse
… And that's one reason you should get into film photography because the photos are for you and not the internet.
The American girl was so annoying, just complaining that her mom posted her middle school pictures on Facebook.
Thank you DW for producing this. I've been disgusted by all these young kids being treated like chihuahuas in purses for strangers to gawk at and judge.
It's easy to explain that.
People's life is empty they need to live their lives watching the others "perfect life".
Don't worry about the end of the world, we are already there!
Looks like the movie. The Truman show
Truly unbelievable to me. I had no clue so many parents did this. What a weird way to raise a child. Glad the internet wasn't around when I was a kid. Really sad.
Deleted social media after watching The Social Dilemma. Over a decade of peace since then and one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
The last thing I would ever do is watch anyone's daily life on social media. I don't get the point at all. And seeing all these parents expose their children in this way is beyond disturbing.
Absolut widerlich. Armer Junge.
we all know that by telling people that they are wrong, is the very best way to get them to see your point of view.
Oh wait, no it's not.
I think more parents are becoming aware that posting their kids on social media is wrong and unsafe. I dont post my child and it feels like I meet more and more parents that do not either.
39:20 sigma boy 😂😂😂😂
Family vloggers (influencers) love that money they make. Especially if you live in Utah! (& Mormon ). They over-share every moment of their children’s growing up.
Am surprised you didn’t get into the Ruby Franke case. As she is now in prison for child abuse!
It’s a form of child abused and it should be punished accordingly.
Data security and privacy 101.
There's a whole industry out there using data willingly provided by the masses.
People look at me and laugh because i dont use any media. This is it. Comments…on youtube 🤷
Wait… Deutsche Welle, you aren't making sense. What does Cam not using her real name on social media have to do with her parents sharenting her? She just told us she's hiding her current self from potential employers, not her childhood self. Why do you let this nonsense slip past unchallenged? This weakens the credibility of people like her.
When Cam talks about her childhood, she jumps from first person "I" to third person, "you." Who is she talking about? WHY DO YOU PRESENT SUCH AN IMPORTANT SUBJECT SO CONFUSINGLY? This doesn't really inform or help.
You've done such a bad job of portraying Cam and her mother, you present her so shallowly you make Cam look like a whiner.
And if Can wants to keep the love of her life to herself, why did she tell us his name and show him?
Can you say, "This looks like attention-whoring?"
Come on, Deutsche Welle. Can't you do better?
The laws protecting children in Europe and some in the US are great but I guess my question is how aware are those children of the laws? Is it clearly explained that they can have their photos removed? That they’re technically an employee on a payroll? Can they really consent? I guess those are the questions that come up for me.
Sheesh…..anything for attention and money. Sickening
I will never understand why people even follow this kind of boring content.
Did that little boy tell his mother to feed him?!! If they are old enough to ask for it they are old enough to do it!!😮
I don't understand why your child would film in a hospital anyway. And everything will tell what's wrong with him! to completely unknown people on a social media platform……
Influencer parents like these should all be in jail. Sharenting is a form of abuse.
😢😢😢😢 Heartbreaking
Companies are using the parents; the parents are pimping their kids; the faithful viewers are zombies; and the kids suffer identity crisises. Lord, help them all.
