It's all NEW to new viewers!😊
Well said. As a fellow long term solo traveller, I agree with most of what you said and do much the same and a few things differently, but whatever works. One thing you didn't mention explicitly (but you have mentioned before) is the fatigue of constantly visiting new and different places and cultures, particularly those where you don't speak the language and have to do work to figure out transport, etc. You have to take 'breaks', be they going back home or going to more familiar places where you can relax for a while. I think perhaps many of the critics have possibly not travelled extensively, or long term and certainly not solo.
My family and I have enjoyed your vlogs over long a period of time.
Over the years we have also travelled the world extensively, the longest period being for about 90 days.
Bearing that in mind we thoroughly agree with all of your comments in this vlog.
We find no problem with revisiting countries and as for accommodation and flights being booked in advance we could not agree with you more. Missing booked flights because of unforeseen delays can be a nightmare.
We continue to look forward to more of your absorbing vlogs no matter where you are, where you stay or how you get there.
Cheers🇦🇺🍺
How about a trip to Gobekli Tepi while in Turkey !?!. 🎉
Travel the way that makes you feel most alive ❤
It's Gabriel's World, and he can travel it, however he wants!
Keep up the great work dude. Enjoy your travels, and thanks for always taking us along. 👍
Anyone that criticises you for doing what you’re doing needs to get a life, you’re not beholden to anyone but yourself, I admire the fact that you can travel independently in the way that you do on a shoestring budget, don’t give the time of day to all these naysayers, be yourself 👍❤️
As someone who has also started a travel vlogging channel (thanks for the inspiration Gabe ❤) I've come to learn that people will nitpick about just about anything, I spent weeks learning the Albanian language to interact with locals then made a video documenting the beauty of Tirana and I had people kicking off because they didn't think it was beautiful, or getting angry because they don't like Albania for whatever reason. In the end I just realised that some people don't even need a reason to complain and just do it because they have a too much time on their hands and need an outlet for their crushing boredom I reckon! 😁
Anyways, you do what you wanna do man, you're making paper doing what many people could only dream of doing and they ain't, so let them haters hate as they're gonna hate regardless as they say! 🙂
I have watched you for years and will continue 2, love the countries you go 2 take care ❤
But….why??
I like the way you travel And I think it's cool to see you respond to the comments they've given.
A very informative and interesting video, Gabriel 👍 Keep doing what you are doing and enjoy Cappadocia ! 😂😂
I like the way you travel. Thank you for your videos that are super interesting!
### Hi Gabe. I can’t seem to locate my comment from this morning but just letting you know I messaged you on Instagram regarding our current stay in Cappadocia.
? Do you watch any Tubers and if so whom? TYIA
🍂I just wouldn’t make a federal case out of n comments . 🥤USA is turning into a giant liberal opinion pole 🍂California is burning up but saw a inexpensive train 2 1/2 day trip that will take them to Ny🗽
I’d like to visit Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard but I can go.. maybe you will consider it.(hinthint)
The way you travel keeps me coming back. You are a budget traveller, go to amazing off the beaten path sites. I just love the pricing you share! Been watching you for years. Let the trolls go somewhere else. Don’t change a thing.
The former Eastern Roman /Byzantine Empire today a secular country. They don't put bags on the heads of the tourists. He is a cultural tourist. If I remember correctly he has classical studies. For someone with his studies Greece and India are pillars of the human cultures. He also enjoys the South with what it means as he can take it. I was looking at different victims profiles and I realized that hooligans on the streets will try to attack someone looking the most powerful and not the weak ones.
Gabe, One of your videos has been posted under the name Inner Quest.
Your travel style is the best on YouTube 👍 watching your videos for more than 8 years 😊
Security issues is why I would last minute my plans
ive watched a few vloggers and G is definately way above the rest
Just back from Lithuania five days. Short break from work. I have always traveled just like you and love it. Been to 86 countries and spent a total 1833 days travelling in total. Been back to several of them multiple times especially Thailand and the Philippines. It comes down to really liking the place and knowing it which makes it much less of a challenge and it get much more relaxed. I go on a long trip once a year and the mood determines if it is going to be a completely new place or some old favorite.
I also don't book things in advance except for the first air tickets. I also try to get open jaw tickets if I book return tickets if it is a new place.
The reason I fell for this channel is that you are one of few channels that travel in a similar way to me 🙂
yo gab..cant wait to see you back in india..u have been my travel inspiration all this while..
Ditto wanderbeard!!
All about me, myself and I ! Does that even exists ??
Gabriel, you are already a legend! Do not forget that! Warm greetings from Germany! ❤
You can never please everyone,do your job that suits you best and do not look back to anyone, you are doing it well!Good luck,Gabriel,
and happy travels, wherever they take you.👍
Babe you are my fave blogger…keep on doing it❤
I'm curious as to how you keep your flight costs low as you seem to use one-way flights, which are much more expensive than return flights.
You do you, man.
Love your style 💕
& your vids…
Keep 'em coming.
Thank you 🙂
Dont worry Gabriel. Keep walking!
You are my favourite backpacker. Trough the years I follow you with a lot pleasure. Tip and tricks are amazing. So thanks a lot.
No wories. You do You, as they say nowadays. I simply don’t watch if you are again in capadocia or in Greece. No big deal. Be happy.
I book accommodation in advance because many times I stay long term in Airbnbs so I can get the monthly rate and also i'm able to cook, that is the only way travel is affordable to me. I don't know your budget but you seem to stay in hotels and eat out at restaurants a lot, if I did that I would be spending $90-100k per year which is double my current budget. Perhaps people just wonder how your travel style is affordable and hence comment on it, since you have not shared your actual budget 🙂 Nothing wrong with your travel style though, I would love to do the same if I could afford it but hotels have become so expensive these days that it is impractical.
Just do you. God Bless! Mabuhay dude.
I watch your videos because I walked the Greek islands and followed in your exact footsteps. You break it down step by step on how to find places. Its better than a map
Well said. I imagine that "Frequent Flyer" discounts are crucial to your flight budgets. yes?
The monks hiding persecution from the Muslims. The Greek orthodox religion survived. Even though Constantinople was taken from us it’s still that. Not instaBull crap they call it now.
28:28 You shouldn't care what the negative nannies say. Live your life and enjoy the travels.
I like you videos, gives a different perspective from the big corporate media travel channels like expedia or lonely planet.
Your life is filled with new adventures every year. My last vacation was to Lithuania 🇱🇹 and that was five years ago. I am due for a international trip
I think people fail to understand how physically and mentally exhausting traveling can be. Especially, the more hectic places around the world.
Constructive criticism about the watchability of the content should be considered. But, I don't think you should be criticized for being flexible in your travel planning.
Thanks
