In this talk, Prabha Ramaswamy reflects on the uniqueness of the Province of Saskatchewan in Canada and the stories that shape our sense of place. She invites us to see the province with fresh eyes, not only for what it is, but for what it can become. Prabha Ramaswamy is a champion of Saskatchewan business, a visionary leader, and a passionate community builder. With a Master’s in Social Work and over 30 years of experience, she has guided organizations through change to achieve strategic growth and impact. Before joining the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, she served as CEO of WESK, launching initiatives to support entrepreneurs and close the gender gap.
Prior to WESK, Prabha served as CEO of the Accounting Designation, Certified General Accountants of Saskatchewan. She was part of the provincial merger committee responsible for unifying the profession to create Certified Professional Accountants of Saskatchewan. She was conferred an honorary CPA for her work on unifying the accounting profession.
Prabha has held numerous leadership roles, including President of the Leaders Council at the University of Regina’s Hill and Levene Schools of Business, and continues to champion community and economic development across Saskatchewan.
