A recent video out of South Africa captured the hilarious moment a woman got a little too close to a giraffe while on a hike. The footage shows the clueless tourist trying to make friends with the giraffe, only to be swiftly knocked to the ground by the gentle giant’s hoof.
Despite the fall, the woman, Musiiwa Sikhwari, luckily escaped without any injuries. Her friend who was filming couldn’t help but laugh at the unexpected turn of events.
“The giraffe pet my shoulder and I fell but there were no injuries,” Sikhwari said of the incident. It serves as a humorous reminder that it’s important to keep a safe distance when interacting with wildlife, no matter how friendly they may seem.
The video is quickly gaining attention online, with viewers getting a good laugh at the woman’s misfortune. Next time, Sikhwari will likely think twice before getting too close to a giraffe.
