This is so quickly edited, from bits that could be taken very out of context that it tells you nothing about how it’s adapted. Looks like they’re going for a sex sells marketing campaign, esp w the Valentine’s Day release. With that said, I’m still be bored. Also, fingering a fish? Gurl bye
Heathcliffe and Cathy never had a sexual relationship. It was never even implied. This is pretty transparently attempting to ride the Bridgerton period smut wave.
I don't even care how horrible this will probably be you had me at Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi. I don't even really like Wuthering Heights. I will watch this anyway for all that dreamy eye candy. I love them both 😄
Where's the Yorkshire accents?
Hey guys, this is more of a metaphor or an allegory. It’s basically the director’s take—like making a modern version set in the 21st century or a completely different movie but giving it the same title because it’s a symbolic reference. I see it as a piece of art, not a straight-up adaptation of the book
My favorite part was Catherine saying, "Let's wuther these heights!" And then all the portals start opening up, and Heathcliff flies in like, "On your left!"
It was awesome.
Where's the Yorkshire accent.

Fuck
still going to watch it , it looks like it has some potential and they are good actors. Feels more artsy than Gothic, but will watch and see
I will never forget when Timothy Dalton played Heathcliffe – when he returned after years away to see Catherine, dressed in the green velvet suite, my young heart skipped a few beats!
I’m happy I haven’t read the novel, lol…this looks hot
Jacob Elordi ❤❤
No. No no no. The cast, the ridiculous sexuality. I’m mad. It’s all wrong.
This looks absolutely horrible
Statler: Do you thing this is educational?
Waldorf: Yes, it’ll force people to read books.
It’s amazing how a trailer that was <2mins brought me to the inescapable conclusion that this film is absolute rubbish. Good job Hollywood, you’ve failed again.
Terrible 😖
From the makers of Saltburn. You know the sh*t Brideshead Revisited rip off. Nah, I am sure it'll be fine.
Wtf…. ?
I will watch it because Wuthering Heights is one of my favourite books but I won't be expecting it to be anything like the novel. First of all Kathy has dark hair and although some people may think that's neither here or there I feel it is important. Secondly Heathcliff was darker skinned. Thirdly, the sexual aspects of the relationship between H and K come through the dialogue and the tension – hatred, longings, landscape – is enough, we don't need such explicit depictions. Or maybe the modern audience does but that's a shame in my opinion. Margot Robbie is a great actress and I am sure she will do an amazing job but the problem is in the screenplay and directorship. Who knows though I might love it?
Wonder what happens?
Gonna tell my kids this was the Barbie Movie
I have actually read the book so I don’t mind artistic adaptation, I will say it does look very naughty side. Prudent beware!
I've read the book a few times and enjoyed numerous movie/ tv adaptations. This looks like a travesty.
