In her talk, Bhoomika reflects on how each heartbreak she experienced helped shape her into the inspiring person she is today, and how she charted her path to become one of her city’s leading mural artists! Dr. Bhoomika Ananth is a mural artist, medical student, and the founder of Creatibeeti, an initiative that transforms public spaces through participatory art. She has led over 300 murals and 100 workshops, involving more than 4,000 participants across schools, cafés, and corporate environments. Her flagship initiative, Wall as Your Canvas, encourages communities—from children in government schools to corporate teams—to paint their own spaces, fostering creativity and ownership. Among her notable works is the state’s largest rendition of Van Gogh’s Starry Night at Airlines Hotel, along with collaborations with Amazon, TVS, Cocoblu, and Ather Energy. Combining her medical training with her artistic vision, Bhoomika explores art as a tool for healing and emotional expression. Her murals are crafted to reflect their surroundings, telling stories that are both meaningful and deeply rooted in community experience.
