Why did Leslie Stahl have to be so rude? Do female interviewers have to be rude so that people think they are as tough as male interviewers?
He was a good man. A lousy politician.
That the US never shot a bullet or dropped a bomb in four years is, in fact, an INCREDIBLE feat. That is unthinkable today. I see why he won the Nobel Peace Prize. May he rest in peace.
He failed as a president but Biden and Obama were the worst, his wife is nuts and I guess when it does not hurt you in the white house. She didn't have to live it and that's why hes called the failed president. Reagan brought us out of the problem but Carter cant say anything
I want to confess that, as a life long republican, and i am happily so, i had swallowed the mainline story of President Carter being a "failed president". I am ashamed that i believed that. While i do not agree with all of his policies, i do feel that he is the best president this country could have hoped for, and that we have been sliding down a very dangerous slope ever since.
Thr jews did it with there midea
Nice man
He was a terrible president.
He was a good president and a great man.
i loved that he told the truth! god loves that as long as it's in love!
He was a good man. Tragic about Kennedy ripping of ALL Americans for affordable healthcare. Obviously the Democratic party has always been completely infiltrated by big money interests. Just as bad as the GOP! 🙁 the money AIPAC and big oil/pharma etc can make off pliable senators is just too good.
Carter….another idiot leftist who was a "total failure" and was also elected with "voting fraud".
You only need to look at Jimmy Carter to know that he is (was) a decent and honest man. Compare him with the cynical arrogance of Trump and his cronies!
This Christ follower may be a closing to a major era of professional and political integrity.
I'm glad Amy Carter enjoyed the White house years. I love the candids of her with her Siamese cat wearing gingham blouses. Rest in Peace President Carter, you left the world a better place because you were in it.
I don’t miss him. But I did learn recently that he deregulated the beverage industry, opening the way for some excellent American craft brewers. RIP
The interviewer sucks
Rosalyn Carter is the only known person to have met Jim Jones and John Wayne Gacy.
Rest in peace Jimmy carter 🫡🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
When I consider those tense “Carter years” and then all he later became, I’m left with the AESOP about the Tortoise and the Hare.
It is kind of telling that he put solar panels on the white house which were immediately removed by Reagan, and the country enjoyed the sense Reagan gave of "we don't need to conserve, we have plenty!", while today, alternatives to fossil fuels are being built out and not just in blue states. While California leads in solar, wind power is huge in the midwest red states.
Yeah. HE brought the hostages home. 😂
Wow he deregulated more than the orange blob.
He was the awful one.
Abandon Taiwan is truly a mistake and even a crime he committed.
What a great man of Truth & Honesty.
Great man of integrity who always devoted himself to the poor.
Great man of simplicity and devotion.
He was right about self-indulgence about 40 years ahead of his time today people are even more self-indulgent, self-entitled, self-centred and exceptionally narcissistic. I respect a person who remains true and authentic to themselves, to hell with the critics, society's flawed expectations, the endless brown-nosers and damn the torpedoes. That there is what a real man is about.
