It needs to be shrunk. If they get tax money we need to vote on it and see where the money goes
“Could threaten” could???? It’s already being wiped out
Why does the president hate us so much?
That's a joke coming from Francis Collins who did everything in his power to hide the truth about the origins of covid and the dangers of the jab as well as trying to silence opposing opinions from other physicians who are expert in the field. Just another hit piece to try to derail the president's agenda which the nation overwhelmingly voted for. Joke.
I’m sure Americans will rise up and protest these cuts….lol jk. Americans don’t care about anything until it affects them directly.
😮DAMN, JUST LET DUDE DO ANYTHING TO AMERICA. I BLAME AMERICANS. you mean NOTHING can be done – nothing? You're Just Gonna Sit There And DO NOTHING!? talk talk talk talk talk (joke) (name call) (blind eye) and more talk…😮
Two weeks to flatten the curve 😂
This is so sad.
Thank you for covering this assault on the NIH and the future of our health in the US.
It will take years for NIH to recover IF we get rid of Trump. He is trying mightily to disempower the American people for his own purposes, and he's got a lot of backers. We face a great evil in the USA right now.
Nothing like having a president that wants to implode his country!
nih, fauci. you need to reform your ill system.
People are going to die and it’s going to be this administration’s fault
Trump has been a disaster for this country. The cuts are so severe that NIH is now paralyzed. Now 75% of scientists want to leave the US.
Trump Administration is actually exposing a larger threat. Corruption.
@8:33 What is “Trans Health”, what separate illness are they facing or what is it?
Why would Putin want to negatively impact the health of Americans for generations?
Prayers to continue funding an important projects that will help the United States get back to a Healthy Nation.❤
As I recently pointed out 60 Minutes, water carrier for the DNC continues to put out disinformation & they keep doubling down. Prior issue was that they called illegal aliens, the official technical term for decades, "migrants"-like they are on some sort of pilgrimage. In this segment they over & over said staff were "fired". Pure lie according to far left Google's AI-they were "laid off". One gets fired for being a poor worker-laid off workers are let go for economic reasons.
Legalize psychedelics and let’s see how much NIH we really need
He's not telling the truth🍺🍺just retired spend time with ur loves ones
Are pieces like this why that one 60 minutes producer left?
Ahh more propaganda.
You mean the people that cure nothing!!!
Please thank Big Pharma, Dr. Fauci, and heavily funded universities for not producing a single breakthrough in the fight against heart disease or cancer; these diseases remain the number one and two killers in America. What about Alzheimer's disease? Researchers still have not identified what causes it, and no single drug has been developed for its prevention. This raises an important question: why is this happening, especially considering the tremendous budgetary spending on these diseases?
The COVID-19 pandemic has revealed that the vaccines, funded and promoted as effective, turned out to have little effect on preventing or lessening the severity of the disease. Does there need to be a change in how research is conducted and funded? Absolutely. If research does not yield results, then funding should not continue to be wasted.
It’s essential to keep Big Pharma away from research involvement because it can too easily manipulate results, especially if they conflict with their profitability. We do not want to become another generation reliant on medications that merely manage symptoms while companies profit until the end of life, when a cure might still be possible.
Moving forward, the new generation of researchers must focus on results. This is the type of research and investment that should shape the future of improving human health: "Results-Based Research Grants," which promote accountability for taxpayer dollars. Now that is some common sense we could all chew upon.
Thank Christianity that put its support behind this administration.
What a wonderful witness to the world

CBO Confirms: Biden’s Biggest Executive Actions Come with $532 Billion Price Tag
WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Budget Committee Republican Leader Jason Smith (MO-08) issued the following statement after the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) – in a response to a request from Smith – provided budgetary analysis of several executive actions taken by President Biden that combined will cost taxpayers $532* billion: “It turns out even with one-party Democrat control of Congress, President Biden has found a way to secretly spend hundreds of billions of dollars all by himself. With the stroke of a pen, President Biden has racked up at least $532 billion on the American taxpayers’ tab with zero input from their elected Representatives in Congress. Bizarrely, the same President Biden that has unilaterally and illegally refused to spend $1.4 billion in funding that was passed by bipartisan majorities in Congress to build a border wall to combat illegal immigration has at the same time spent over 375 times that amount on actions that Congress never authorized or appropriated. The enormous price tag speaks to how far President Biden wants to expand Washington command and control over education and health care while rolling back immigration enforcement. It is amazing that this is the same White House that continues to claim they are reducing the deficit.” CBO’s analysis provided the following cost projections for these Biden executive actions:
$300 billion for expanding welfare by enlarging the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefit
$34 billion for expanding Obamacare and enrolling more Americans in Washington-controlled health care plans
$85 billion for continuing a pandemic-era student loan payment moratorium benefitting higher income earners
$3 billion for canceling the student loan debts of 40,000 borrowers**
$20 billion for ending the Trump Administration’s public charge restrictions on immigration which protected taxpayers from awarding welfare benefits to immigrants
$11 billion cost to taxpayers from eliminating strengthened work requirements in SNAP for able-bodied adults without dependents***
$3 billion in additional Medicaid spending by prohibiting states from establishing work requirements in their Medicaid programs
$7 billion for raising the wages for federal contractors

CBO Confirms: Biden-Harris Election Year Medicare Cost-Shifting Policy Will Cost Taxpayers Billions
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released its analysis of a newly announced Biden-Harris program intended to paper over the flaws of the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” (IRA). Based on CBO estimates, this election-year stunt to artificially lower the cost of seniors’ Part D premiums will cost taxpayers at least $7 billion in 2025, including $2 billion in additional interest on our already ballooning debt. If implemented as planned, this program could cost taxpayers more than $21 billion over the three-year demonstration.
HOUSE BUDGET COMMITTEE
The Democrats’ ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ was originally scored as a deficit reducer of $58 billion; however, recent estimates from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) show that the cost of the green provisions in the IRA has increased by $622 billion over the original budget window – $796 billion if looking at the current budget window.
Democrats' electric vehicle tax credit handout to the wealthy alone is set to cost $101 billion–up from JCT's original estimate of $14 billion.
The electric vehicle battery production credits are estimated to cost taxpayers over $196 billion–a 542 percent increase from the original sticker price.
The Biden-Harris IRA raided $307 billion from Medicare to pay for its green energy handouts and Obamacare subsidies for the wealthy. This attack on Medicare occurred as the vital program for seniors continues to face the threat of insolvency.
Democrats included a provision in the IRA that redesigned the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit, with the main changes going into effect in 2025. As a result of these changes, seniors’ Part D premiums are slated to significantly increase next year.
As a result, 2025 bids for standalone part D plans skyrocketed 179 percent. To mask premium increases ahead of November, the Biden-Harris Administration announced a new demonstration program to spend billions of taxpayer dollars buying down the premium increases. The IRA imposed price controls on prescription drugs that threaten to reduce patient access to innovative medicines and increase long-term federal health spending.
According to CBO, the IRA will lead to higher list prices for new drugs, raising costs for American patients who are already struggling with out-of-control health care costs under President Biden and Vice President Harris.
The IRA has already forced biopharmaceutical innovators to suspend the development of new medicines, including those for rare diseases. Independent estimates have found the drug price controls could result in as many as 139 fewer drugs coming to market.
Innovative cures and therapies hold the potential to significantly lower federal health care spending by curing and reducing the burden of costly diseases. By stopping the development of these new drugs, the IRA’s price control scheme is limiting the tools needed to reduce long-term health care spending.

Not all works by NIH are improving health. NIH/NIAID funded gain-of-function research at WuHan Virology Institute through EcoHealth. More and more evidences have come out that Covid 19 viruses were created by WVI funded by NIH.
