Israel Firm on Ground Claims Amid 10-Day Ceasefire with Lebanon
In a significant yet precarious development, Israel and Lebanon have entered into a 10-day ceasefire following weeks of intense cross-border fighting. The ceasefire, welcomed by some and viewed with skepticism by others, represents a fragile pause in a deeply entrenched conflict. Defining the Israeli stance, Defense Minister Israel Katz declared that “The Israeli army holds and will continue to hold all the places it has cleared and conquered,” emphasizing Israel’s commitment to retaining control over the areas it has secured during the recent hostilities.
U.S. President Donald Trump has revealed that there is potential for leaders from both nations to convene at the White House in the coming weeks. This diplomatic engagement could provide an avenue for deeper discussions and, hopefully, a more lasting resolution to the ongoing tensions. However, the path forward remains murky, reflecting long-standing distrust between the two nations.
On the ground, residents on both sides of the border are grappling with the implications of the ceasefire. Many individuals express a mix of hope and skepticism, as the prospect of lasting peace often feels elusive. While some families have cautiously begun to return to their homes, the scars of conflict are evident. In southern Lebanon, displaced families face the daunting reality of returning to neighborhoods marked by damage and uncertainty.
As this fragile ceasefire progresses, the coming days will be critical in assessing whether it can lay the groundwork for more meaningful dialogue or if, ultimately, the cycle of conflict will resume. The international community watches closely, aware that the stakes in this region are profoundly high.

Israel isn't neutered and weak like Canada FAFO💪🏼🇮🇱
Israel delenda est.
Lebanon was a beautiful country with a 75% Christian population until the early 1980s when the PLO savaged through the country murdering about 90,000 Christians in the process. Israel interceded as much as they were able to put a halt to the murder, but after they had to withdraw there began an ongoing emigration of Christians out of that country, mostly to Europe, South America and the US. Now Lebanon is only about 15% Christian, and they must keep a very low profile in order to avoid the wrath of the Followers of The Prophet (PBUH) who are trying to make the country totally Christenfrei. The oppressor of the Christians there is Hezbollah, a proxy army of Iran, which has taken over a large piece of Southern Lebanon in order to fire missiles and launch attacks at Israel. The Lebanese do not want Hezbollah there, and would like to see them gone. After that, Israel can withdraw, as they did before, and Lebanon and Israel can live in peace as neighbors.
At least the reporter or reporters talked to regular people on both sides
Don't think so.
Israel is so screwed. Ah well you can't say they weren't warned.
Good, maybe next time hezb will think twice before attacking Israel AGAIN (and then losing AGAIN)
That israeli woman has a pretty messed up take. Lebanon is being systematically destroyed like Gaza. Yet she is complaining about a bowl of drone parts that she found in the garden. Are all Israeli's really that evil? I'm starting to think that Israel needs to invaded for a major regime change and their military neutered. Their evilness cannot be allowed to continue.
Global could use some backbone in its Israel coverage . A harder humanitarian stance would be better. War crimes are reported as though they are normal.
Stealing land. Theft!
And they wonder why they’re hated all over the world
the northern part of "isreal" is on land stolen from the Palestinians who are still crammed into camps in lebanon, and the greedy criminals still want more…
sudani arabia conquest ideology
"…cleared and conquered…", ah! So are we in 2026 back to the year 1026??? The barbaric ages of empires? Did we ever leave that age? Hmm…🤔🤔🤔
Well of course…..
War criminals are not even ashamed
Israel is the least safest place on earth. So much for this utopian Zionist dream turned now into a hellscape, and this is merely the beginning…
And then they cry “why does everyone hate us”
No sympathy or support for Israel or for Israelis at this point. Bibi has got to go. As Jimmy Kimmel said " Isn't it past your jail time? I think this applies to Bibi now.
In spite of aggression exhibited by Lebanon and their supporters, it is so heartwarming to see kindness and generosity of Israelis.
Cool

So the land grab is part of the greater israel project…..
Poor bots can’t handle the truth about Zionists being eliminated 😂😂
Good. The land belongs to Israel.
Do not poke the bear, Blame Hezbollah for all this, Hezbollah make Lebanon worse than Cave Ali Baba, God blesses Israel.
Not this time. Isreal will be lucky if it keaos it's own occupied land.
They want to take land and subjugate the others.
Israel is bombing churches and destroying Christian artifacts both in Palestine and Lebanon.
