The hardware sounds impressive, but I still think the software is the hardest part. A robot can have amazing hands and still struggle in a real kitchen.
The "$1/hour labor" idea sounds great on paper, but I'm wondering how much maintenance and repairs will actually cost.
People keep comparing Optimus to Atlas, but they're built for completely different goals. Is that comparison even fair?
One thing I still don't understand: can Fleet Learning really transfer skills between robots without causing new errors?
If Optimus eventually becomes as common as a washing machine, this could completely change how we think about household chores. Or is that still too optimistic?
I feel like cooking is much harder than people think. Washing dishes is one thing, but preparing an entire meal safely is another level.
I'm curious how Tesla plans to handle unexpected situations at home. Kids, pets, and clutter are very different from a factory floor.
Tesla always aims high. The question isn't whether Optimus can do these tasks once—it's whether it can do them every day for years.
If Optimus really costs around $30k, would you actually buy one, or would you wait for Gen 4?
I can definitely see businesses using this before regular families do. Restaurants, hotels, or warehouses seem like the logical first step. What do you think?
Tesla planned for robots to play our hobbies and leave us do the hard work of keeping them up and running and clean up after them. Building a general purpose robot is no way to automate a factory. It will be slower and less reliable than dedicated automated systems.
❤🙏🏼👍🏼🇫🇷🇫🇷
How do they react to optical illusions?

Am I the only one who's tired of the AI voice?
Спасибо! ❤
V3 is never be real. All we get is audio jargon.
I will believe it when I see it.
値段どれくらいなんだろう。

Gen 3 executes daily chores with its hardware and compute power; an alluring scent builds depth on top, middle, and base notes.

This is the same video from a couple of days ago.
This can be huge. Especially for seniors living at home.
can't wait
Elon 😮❤ you are truly amazing.
I love optimus
What happens when an Optimus doing shopping is attacked by 4 or 5 people in the shop just because it is a robot?
In the end, it could fail spectacularly.
I remember when personal PC's were coming out and all the pundits were saying "who's going to buy that for the home? Nobody needs a home computer!"My, how times change.
Wow. Cook, clean, serve beer you say? If it can fuck and suck I don’t need a woman. Will save a shit ton of money.
Hey Elon,
I already told you this is going to help the disabled or challenged communities so much. Please keep going with this work on our planet! We need you so much. Right now there's such a need in New Jersey. They constantly say they don't have employees to help. The budget is there but no employees. Keep going so we can buy them ASAP…. our communities and hospitals are suffering now
