Super Stressed: Ontario Family Claims Moving Company Seized All Their Possessions
Moving can be a daunting experience, even under the most favorable circumstances. For one Ontario family, the chaos associated with relocating crossed into a nightmare scenario when their possessions became trapped in a storage facility, the result of an alleged mishap with their moving company.
The family’s emotional journey began when they made the decision to move across the border. Anticipating a fresh start, they meticulously planned their transition. However, after entrusting their belongings to a moving company, they found themselves in a distressing situation where all their possessions were held hostage. Weeks turned into an agonizing wait as the family tried, and repeatedly failed, to reclaim their items.
The frustrations mounted as phone calls and emails went unanswered. It was a battle against time and uncertainty, adding stress to an already emotional experience. Desperate for a resolution, the family reached out for help. Their cries were heard, and intervention came in the form of Global News reporter Sean O’Shea.
O’Shea stepped in to investigate the situation and shine a light on the family’s plight. His reporting not only provided a platform for their story but also brought public attention to the broader issues surrounding customer service failures in the moving industry. As the family eagerly awaited a conclusion to their ordeal, the community watched closely, hoping for a resolution that would finally bring their belongings home.
The story serves as a stark reminder of the risks associated with hiring moving companies and the potential emotional toll it can take on families facing transitions.

Moving to Florida? Bye!
Horrendous
LXS chose to deal with that third party so they should take responsibility and not just throw there hands up in the air and leave their customers stranded.
The fact that it took calling the local news company to get any response from them speaks volumes about what a poorly run company they are.
My condolences to the family for their loss. And wishing them a blessed new start.
Good on you global news
Lol. Another rigged story from GloBULL

There's only a few reputable moving companies out there. May cost a bit more but worth it.
