Prof. Santosh’s been a prominent speaker worldwide, recognized internationally as a keynote speaker for major conference events in Al, Machine Learning, and Humanities, with audiences exceeding 500 per event. Prof. Santosh will
emphasize that “Al is the future-regardless of your background, whether it’s biology, chemistry, or any other field.” It includes everything anywhere ranging from healthcare to agriculture and to finance. With all these, he will address the potential yield of carbon footprint caused by Al models by highlighting the need of sustainable Al models-green computing. His talk is inclusive, promoting the idea of “Al for all and for good.” “Prof. KC Santosh, a highly accomplished AI expert, is the chair of the Department of Computer Science at the University of South Dakota (USD). He is also the founding director of the Center for AI Research & Enginneering at USD. He served the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a research fellow. Before that, he worked as a postdoctoral research scientist at the LORIA research centre, Universite de Lorraine in direct collaboration with industrial partner, ITESOFT, France. He earned his PhD in Computer Science – Artificial Intelligence from the INRIA Nancy Grand Est research centre (France).
