Motorola Razr and Razr Plus 2024 First Look
Motorola has announced the release of their new 2024 Razer family, featuring the Motorola Razer and the Razer Plus. Both phones come in a variety of fun and fashionable color options, a departure from the traditional drab colors of other devices on the market. The Razer Plus even comes in a nostalgic pink color reminiscent of the original Razer V3 flip phone.
Both phones feature a new hinge design that is 30% smaller than last year, reducing the visible screen crease and improving durability. The internal screens are brighter and have improved water touch technology for enhanced responsiveness. The Razer Plus also boasts a 165 HZ refresh rate on its internal screen, while the regular Razer has a 120 HZ refresh rate.
In terms of cameras, the Razer Plus has a new 2x telephoto camera in addition to the main 50-megapixel sensor, while the regular Razer has a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The Razer Plus runs on a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, while the regular Razer runs on a Mediatek Dominity 7300 X chip.
Additional features include Moto AI, Google Gemini integration, and the innovative Moto Tag Bluetooth tracker. The Razer Plus is available for pre-order on July 10th, with the regular Razer following shortly after. Motorola’s new releases aim to combine fashion and innovation in the smartphone market, offering fun and stylish options for consumers.
