I love Blake ❤
What?? How is that normal.
“Uhm yeah sorry, my husband is actually gonna write this scene mkay.”
Love them separately and together but merging work products with the greater entity of what they bring to the table may be a lot to ask of people who have their own vision.
I love Blake too. However, she supposedly didn't get along with Leighton Meister or Anna Kendrick…and now this…
She's had rifts at gossip girl, a simple favor then this. I think she's the common problematic denominator
Sometimes, you have to respect people’s jobs and boundaries. Don’t overstep on other people’s jobs. It’s sad how what I hear is a great book, is connected to a movie adaptation that focuses more on the actors than the story characters themselves.
Stop adapting Colleen Hoover books she’s trash
Nothing like coming to every project with a barnacle.
I never knew Blake was so unprofessional. She’s Taylor’s bff which should not surprise me I guess!
Did Blake and her delusional husband really think she could get nominated? Zero chance. She can’t act!
Justin is overrated yo. Dude should just stick with his useless podcast lol
Honestly the movie did not live up to the hype . They left many important parts from the book out .
The opening scene was not all that tbh .
She shouldn’t step boundaries and just stick to acting if that .
Promoting the film as some fun romcom knowing it’s about a serious topic like abuse and promoting her alcohol and hair care seems extremely inappropriate. Blake thinks she’s gonna get an Oscar for this and that’s not gonna happen. Justin had the rights for this film for FIVE YEARS. It’s sad he’s the only one taking the topic seriously.
Enjoyed the movie, everyone did a great job with their character's role, it was touching and inspiring to watch.
I just read an interview with Christy Hall the Screenwriter of the movie "It Ends With Us". Not only is Christy credited with screenwriting this film, but she stated that she in fact wrote the "Rooftop Scene" and not Ryan Reynolds. Christy then goes on to say that some lines in that scene were in fact improvised by Blake Lively and if she was advised by Ryan to say them that was fine. But that she screen wrote that entire film.😏
WHY DID SHE BRING LANA DEL RAY INTO THIS 😭 LEAVE HER ALONE
I just know Lana was dragged into this cause of Blake being one of Taylor’s recent BFF’s. Just like how she dragged her at the Grammys, she was stuck between a rock & a hard place yet again.
I can believe they begged her not to include the song. The lyrics to Cherry has nothing to do with DV Abuse which is the sole purpose. What Blake is describing is a Dramatic Romance movie like ‘The Age of Adeline.’ I don’t know why Blake wanted to be part of this film when she clearly hates the story & wanted to lighten it up to her perspective. This is why she can’t be a serious Actress, which is fine, it’s just clearly not her style.
I saw that interview where Blake rolled her eyes and said she had to fight to keep Lana Del Ray’s song in a scene where others thought it didn’t fit. Seems like she felt entitled to having a say in the movie’s music. Another interviewer asked about Blake being the intimacy coordinator on set. Blake basically said the actor should never be the intimacy coordinator and that there were ICs on set, but then she didn’t know how to respond when the interviewer and Colleen Hoover said there was a video online of Blake directing Justin on how to grab her. Then there’s Blake talking about how she styled herself using her wardrobe and borrowed clothes from Gigi Hadid…. wonder how the wardrobe designer felt about that. The interviews of both Blake and Justin give credence to the theory that there were creative differences on set and that Blake, with Ryan’s help, basically bulldozed her way to get more creative control. It also seems like Blake wanted to attach her A-list friends (Taylor, Lana, Gigi) to the project as well, regardless of whether it would or would not fit Justin’s vision. IMO, Justin seemed more interested in the serious and genuine storytelling aspect of movie making whereas Blake was more interested in the movie’s aesthetics and marketing. She def had her personal agenda with this movie, from involving her Hollywood friends and husband in its creation, marketing her new haircare line as well as cross promoting Deadpool x Wolverine, not to mention using her premiere outfit as self promotion to be cast as Britney Spears for Brit’s upcoming biopic.
She and Ryan got married on a plantation so
I just know the Director wishes he didn’t cast Blake the moment they started filming 😅😭 I remember when it was cast & the entire Internet was upset cause Blake didn’t look like the character Lilly & didn’t have the same vibe. Everyone wanted Sadie Sink or Madeline Petsch. It would’ve been a professional & serious film with better Actresses that can be taken seriously, which is the entire purpose.
The Director Justin Baldoni has shown a lot of respect, what he’s been saying in interviews, being classy, saying great things Blake ( ryan is a huge gossiper so I know he was shady towards him & Justin took the high road) & he said he didn’t want a lot of the wrong attention towards the movie, he didn’t want to parade the movie premier, he wanted it taken seriously. And what did Blake do? Make it about her, when it’s about the story & not glamorising DV Abuse. Most of the interviews is her talking about Fashion & one of them saying how she’s a huge fan of Britney Spears, to dig up the archives of a dress that Versace made for Britney, it was a huge fashion special moment for Britney at the time, not for it to be worn again by some actress on a red carpet to take that away, Britney isn’t dead to do a Homage to her. Especially a movie about DV abuse, where Britney is widely known for going through heavy abuse in her life. Read the room Blake. No wonders Britney was triggered & wrote that post but ended up deleting it.
Blake get your own Dress & Ryan get your own Movie. Leave people alone, it’s not always about you. Let people have their moments. I know people have now gotten the ICK towards them now. I actually loved Blake in Gossip Girl. Sigh, another tone death celebrity bites the dust.
Justin Baldoni sucks
Ryle? Atlas? The very adult author of this book just sounds soo silly. Lol
As for Blake, I have a feeling she’s gonna get exposed sooner than later for being difficult to work with. Her and Ryan once seemed down to earth but it’s very clear they’re trying to push a brand and make themselves out to be the big Hollywood IT couple. It’s unfortunate the director is getting lost in the mix. He tried to make a movie about a series topic and Blake and Ryan have mostly watered down the messaging and point of the movie to be a chick flick, with great fashion, great music, love etc, when really it’s about the distorted view of dv. But you’d never know that from watching Blake and Ryan tag team to promote both their films (Deadpool and IEWU) at once. SMH I feel bad for the director
And all of a sudden we know these people personally?
A great great movie since THE NOTEBOOK🙌
Mean girl…vibe and entitled
There are (at least) two times that BL states in interviews “things that she shouldn’t be telling the interviewer”.
Then don’t Blake, don’t say it.
I don’t particularly care for some of the work that I have seen with BL. However, BL is 1000% Lilly Bloom
BL is a smart woman, I don’t know that this is a new interview or just a regurgitated one addressing the creative differences.
Does BL really believe that the audience and the people following the drama on set/in production AND additional creative differences is all about a song being in the movie?
GIVE ME A BREAK!
There is:
• a man, who bought the rights to the book (who is the director AND a lead character in the movie)
• THIRTEEN producers (one of which, wrote the original book)
• a gazillion other people that are important in the creation, completion and distribution of this movie
• and apparently Ryan Reynolds.
With all of the above there are going to be differences.
BL knows what the comments are on social media.
It may be strategic, to have a Justin camp and a Blake camp it gets people talking about the movie. But in the trailer, it shows a man RAGING, if you listen to the words, Lily is telling you that if you have triggers for DV, it is your responsibility to see if this is a movie that you should watch.
Who cares about the marketing? The job was done. We as viewers have some responsibility.
After all is said and done, everyone did an AMAZING job.
JB should be recognized and applauded for the art created on theaters everywhere
She sounds plume a BASKETCASE and seems like she had trouble keeping together. There are tears in her eyes in this video. 😮
