Last night, Russian authorities reported that their air defense systems successfully intercepted and shot down multiple Ukrainian drones targeting Moscow. The Russian defense ministry stated that a total of 45 drones were destroyed over Russian territory, with 11 of them being taken down over the capital region. Moscow’s mayor described the attack as one of the largest drone assaults launched by Ukraine against the city.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainian forces are continuing their offensive in Russia’s Kursk region, despite ongoing military actions by Moscow in the Donbass region. This escalation in hostilities comes as tensions between the two countries remain high, with both sides engaging in military operations on multiple fronts.
