Tesla Semi New Version Officially Unveiled: A Game-Changer for European Roads
Tesla has officially lifted the curtain on the new European version of its highly anticipated Tesla Semi, showcasing a range of impressive updates tailored for European regulations and road requirements. With a focus on efficiency, design, and performance, this latest model sparks a crucial question: Is it truly superior to the U.S. version?
In our latest video, we delve deep into what makes the new European Tesla Semi stand out. With a robust 550 km range and a gross combination weight of 40 tons, this truck is engineered for serious commercial deployment. Rapid 800 kW charging capabilities and a mere 1 kWh/km energy consumption highlight its efficiency, while the redesigned exterior gives it a fresh, modern look that will turn heads on the highway.
We take a comprehensive approach by comparing the European model to both the Standard and Long Range versions available in the U.S. You’ll learn about the significant tweaks Tesla has implemented and the rationale behind these changes.
The video also addresses Tesla’s ambitious production goals, aiming for an impressive annual output of 50,000 trucks from its Nevada facility. We discuss real-world fleet performance, the importance of charging infrastructure, and how payload efficiency is central to the new design. Notably, the redesigned cabin promises to enhance the driving experience for operators.
Most importantly, we explore how Tesla seems to be optimizing the Semi for commercial profitability, prioritizing charging times and real-world operations over merely extending range. This strategic focus could position Tesla as a formidable contender in the European electric trucking market.
Whether you’re a Tesla enthusiast, a fleet operator, an investor, or simply curious about the future of electric trucks, this video is a must-watch. Join us as we dissect the next chapter in electric commercial vehicles with the all-new Tesla Semi!

Oops saying words wrong. Semi? Bye
The obvious AI generated script, replete with repetitions and those standard phrases we have come to know too well, really annoys me. The cadence and storytelling doesn’t match the content or the stuff that’s interesting or newsworthy.
AI SHIT
Elon does look like a whale… so even rich people cant avoid our poison food huh?
I don't think those range figures would work in the USA. I would go with diesel at this point, and Aurora Innovation. AUR They are already in revenue operation.
Thing I see is how much infrastructure is there for Electric vehicles? Charging stations/maintenance areas/etc. I just know we tried buying an electric lawnmower few years ago and it had a problem. Only place that would work on it was 45 minutes away, so we'd have to drive there drop it off drive home and wait for it to be fixed and then drive back over. How bad is it for electric vehicles, how many charging stations are there I know in big cities and in California the charging stations are probably everywhere but what about small towns?
Perhaps these no sleeper cabin because FSD will arrive soon?
I wonder why they haven’t considered a Diesel Electric combination like Train engines use? In theory it could greatly extend the range and hill climbing ability.
Creating a self-driving system is no trouble for other industry heavyweights. But the idea itself is excellent. It is high time this was done—especially since robotaxis already feature it.
European cab-over trucks are built for tight roundabouts, mountain roads and historic cobblestones.
Meanwhile, the Tesla Semi’s beautifully aerodynamic, elongated nose dominates the massive corridors of the United States.
Yet, through a stroke of engineering genius in its cab frame modifications, the European Alps and Black Forest will soon welcome the Semi with open arms.
We welcome Tesla Semi to Europe s soon as possible, a gamechanger on the global market
опять накурится и травит свои басни из склепа
More powerful motors don;t only mean faster acceleration, they also mean more powerful regenerative braking meaning that the truck can recoup more energy when descending steep hills which are not uncommon in parts of Europe.
Not paying a dime in fuel taxes for the roads and first responders they require
The only thing Google FSD learns is nothing. It blindly follows the Google straight line program that Taxi’s use. It doesn’t pick up on driver route preferences. It takes roads with signal lights and stop signs versus highways. Google FSD is better than most programs but needs a lot of work. The Google FSD program is so antiquated that it doesn’t show the cross streets and there’s no satellite version. WAYMO and some of the other self driving programs are currently better. You can sleep in them.
super
Yes fsd world be a gamechanger and mercedes an scania Electric would lose
GO AHEAD !❤
As a professional driver, the first issue I see with this truck is that in Europe, we don't use 3-axle tractor units or "long-nose" (conventional cab) models, as there are limits on the total length of the vehicle combination. It would be useful for container haulage or tankers, but for refrigerated trailers or general freight/parcel delivery, it is not a viable option.
WHEN ???
