Veteran soap actor Doug Sheehan, best known for his roles on “General Hospital” and “Knots Landing,” has passed away at the age of 75. Sheehan died peacefully on June 29 at his home in Big Horn, Wyoming, with his wife by his side. The cause of death was not disclosed.
Born in Santa Monica, California in 1949, Sheehan began his acting career with a guest appearance on “Charlie’s Angels” in 1978. He then went on to become a series regular on “General Hospital” as lawyer Joe Kelly, appearing in over 200 episodes from 1979-1982.
Sheehan’s talent and charisma endeared him to fans on both daytime and primetime television. His contributions to the entertainment industry will always be remembered.
