Aid group reports up to 21,000 children missing in Gaza following Israel’s war outbreak

According to Save the Children, up to 21,000 children are missing in Gaza since Israel launched its war on October 7. The death toll in Gaza has surpassed 37,000, with almost half of the casualties being children. Israel’s actions have led to the country being added to the UN’s list of countries that harm children.
Save the Children has reported that these missing children are separated from their families or buried under the rubble, with their fate unknown. The organization is calling for a ceasefire to search for the missing children.
Al Jazeera’s Felix Nyawara provides more information in this report. Khaled Quzmar, the general director of Defense for Children International Palestine, joins us live from Ramallah to discuss the latest updates on this heartbreaking situation in Gaza.
