Sole Survivor of Air India Crash Speaks Out: “I Don’t Know How I Survived”
In a heart-wrenching interview from his hospital bed, Ramesh Viswashkumar, the sole survivor of Air India’s Flight 171, recounted the terrifying moments leading up to the fatal crash that claimed the lives of 241 people on board. Those who knew the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner as a state-of-the-art aircraft can only now fathom the quiet dread that enveloped the flight as it approached Ahmedabad.
“I don’t know how I survived,” Viswashkumar shared, his voice heavy with emotion. His words reflect not only disbelief but also the haunting memory of witnessing the tragic deaths of crew members and fellow passengers as the aircraft met its grim fate. The crash, which impacted a medical college hostel, left a gaping void in the lives of many, including a Canadian dentist from Mississauga, Ontario, who was among the lost.
Miraculously, Viswashkumar found a shard of hope among the wreckage—a small space within the section of the plane where he was seated. “I was in the part of the plane that landed on the ground,” he said. It was this fortunate alignment that allowed him to escape, while lamenting the fatal reality for those on the opposite side of the aircraft.
As the tragic details of the crash emerge, Viswashkumar’s narrative reminds us of the preciousness of life and the randomness of survival. His story stands as both a testament to resilience and a somber reminder of the fragility of human existence amid catastrophic events. The aftermath of the crash will echo in the memories of those who lost loved ones, while Viswashkumar continues to grapple with the question of survival—one that may never find a satisfying answer.

Poor survivor 😢shouldn't they leave him alone 😔
Amazing!!!
Glad to see people acknowledging trauma nowadays openly
imagine falling onto uneven ground and buildings inside a big metal box filled with extremely flammable fuel at 2-300km/h and surviving
Global news will do its fascist khalistani propaganda and blame Modi for this also
Bro better sue and get millions from this
I don't know but something smells fishy because he was sitting right in top of the fuel tanks by looking at the explosion I really doubt someone will survive sitting so close to the explosion this is the best opportunity for scammers

God bless you brother! ❤
so, a lot of people, like me, have questions regarding how this man survived when the two videos show that as the plane hit the building it immediately exploded and that there was no time for him to get out. So i actually saw two of his interviews with different reporters and what I gathered from the other interview was that when asked, "Did you jump out?". He said, "No, i walked out of the area". Then the female reporter asked him, "did you walk out before the explosion or after?" He said "before the explosion". Even i was confused when did he walk out because the explosion happened instantly and from the videos of our national coverage we only saw the 108 ambulance squad helping him out of the debris post-blast. So i went and searched for other interviews and guess what I found. His attending doctor in an interview with an American news outlet stated that the survivor showed signs of PTSD as well as temporary Amnesia. The senior doctor also said that the man had problems in putting the chronology of events together just after coming to the hospital. So my guess is their maybe a chance that whilst he thinks he left the plane pre-blast, it was actually post-blast. Cause the teams of 108 ambulances had reached the medical college premises after 5 mins post explosion and they were the ones that had accompanied him out of the affected area. Just a theory.
Please recover well 🙏🙏
This guy needs to become a baba in India. He can become a living God. People would come to him for blessings. He is the true son of God.
It went up in a huge fire ball, you would be incinerated.!!!!
